Clubs line up for Lupoli

Arturo Lupoli’s FA Cup hat-trick has alerted even more Italian sides, as Inter and Milan join Napoli in the race to sign him.

The 19-year-old was snapped up by Arsenal before Parma – whose youth system he grew up in – could place him under a professional contract in Italian law.

Loaned out to Derby County, his triple against Wrexham this week put him in the headlines right at the time when he has hinted he’d like a return to Italy.

“We will respect what he wants to do,” admitted Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, but now the question is who will take on the young talent?

Napoli have been linked with Lupoli for some time and remain in pole position should they earn promotion to the top flight.

However, his recent form has alerted bigger fish to the bait, as Inter and Milan are interested in picking him up in January at a cut-price deal rather than wait until his contract expires at the end of the season.

Considering Lupoli is a Neapolitan and a lifelong Rossoneri supporter, the battle is set to hot up over the next few weeks.

Gazzetta dello Sport says we're in need of a defender and a striker, and we're currently in talks with Oddo and Lupoli. Maybe we'll sign him in the end, who knows!

Get Lupoli and loan him to Napoli.

from what i know he is quick, composed and a good finisher, so considering he is 19 or something there is scope for improvement

one for the future i suppose but still not the shevchenko figure we are looking for

To play in Berlusconi Trophies like? Even if we get him... we'll be the always benched. I guess you know Carletto.

Then, he'll take a foward and use the fabulous Xmas tree - 4-3-2-1.

Ancelotti won't use Lupoli.

But I still think having Aubamanaayaghaggadfkhgakbfka as a 4th striker is not a wise idea... We need someone more reliable. And I don't really think Lupoli is the answer, but I would like to have him as our 5th striker. We should get Bojinov or someone who has Serie A experience and can aslo score.

I understand you mean Lupoli would be good as a fight striker, right!? What's wrong with Aubameyang (I hope we'll make us get used to his name someday) taking that place!? unsure.gif
