Cagliari's Suazo open to AC Milan move
tribalfooball.com - December 04, 2006 (In http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/index.php?a...n=read&id=44503 too)

Cagliari striker David Suazo admits he welcomes continued interest from AC Milan.

The Honduras international is again being linked with Milan for the January market and said: "If the reports are true, then it is very pleasing that Milan is interested in me.

"If I was to go to Milan, I would do my best for them. I repeat, if Milan are interested in me it is truly flattering."

And Ancelotti today on the press conference before Lille's match talked about him, saying many good things about him.

This would be a great buy.

I'm just posting this not because of the rumours, but because of what Carlo said today on the press conference:

QUOTE
"Ronaldinho is really talented, but he's not a pure foward. In that role the best in the world is Eto'o. But it's difficult for players like him, Drogba or Kaka' to change squads. But also Suazo is a great foward, very fast and good on counter-attack."

If we could sign him in January it would be great, but I doubt our management opts to buy any forward until June. "We're all set", remember? rolleyes.gif

Who gives a damm about the management, suazo played like a demon against milan, he is a great player, and i would feel very happy for him, since he's from honduras, just beside my country, i can imagine hondura's people id suazo sign for ac milan.

Hmm definitely has the attributes were missing, shame he's 27 though. Be ideal if he was like 24, caused he burned the milan defence with his speed.

The top-age for a foward is between 28-32. At least I heard a football specialist (kind of doctor) saying that some weeks ago.

There are exceptions, but that's mostly the case. I'd say 28-31.

Is it just me or does Suazos 'reaction' to the rumors seem a little desperate?
He might as well just say that he'll do anything to play for Milan! tongue.gif

Milan-Suazo, esclusiva agente 'Un suo trasferimento? Al momento il mercato.....'

14:38 del 07 dicembre ::: calciomercato.com

Suazo's agent:
"I haven't talked with any team. I don't believe Suazo leave Cagliari in January. In June we'll see but there are many months to go, many time. Cagliari changed the coach and Cagliari changed his game, but he's trying to give the best for the team. We're not interested going to the market at the moment"
