Real Madrid will renew their attempts to sign Milan ace Kaka. “I’m sure everything will fall into place,†said sporting director Predrag Mijatovic.
The attacking midfielder was at the centre of a transfer battle between the two clubs in the summer, but an infuriated Rossoneri side told the Spanish giants to poach elsewhere.
“We tried to convince Kaka to leave Milan last summer, but we did not finalise an agreement as he wanted to honour his contract with his current club,†Mijatovic told Spanish newspaper AS.
“In any case, we will try again in the future because he is an excellent player and he would be a perfect target for us,†added the former Fiorentina striker.
“It will not be an easy operation, but I am confident that in the end everything will fall into place.â€
However, Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani had recently confirmed that Kaka is not for sale and would not be included in any transfer operation.
“I will never sell Kaka,†stated the former Lega Calcio chief. “I have told my sons that they are authorised to do anything they want to me if I ever agree to sell the player.â€
Meanwhile, Mijatovic was also asked to comment on Antonio Cassano’s situation in the capital with the Italian still refusing to make peace with boss Fabio Capello following a row.
“I really hope he speaks to Capello and apologises for his behaviour because he was disrespectful,†he noted.
“We will wait and see what happens in the next few days, but now everything depends on Cassano.â€
As a result rumours of a January separation are rife despite claims by Giuseppe Bozzo, his agent, that he will remain until 2010.
However, according to the elmundodeportivo.es website, Cassano has indirectly announced his Real departure.
During a running session with the club’s fitness trainer, he declined to run faster by allegedly answering that he did not want to be bothered as he would soon be leaving the outfit anyway.

They are realistic, if we lose every game we play until January, Ricky might decide to leave.

Naah...Real just got their tails wagging, coz right now there is a chance Milan might not qualify for CL...and I think in that scenario Kaka has got a release clause, or is it only for Serie A?

GALLIANI: 'Kakà is absolutely untransferable'
MILAN - Adriano Galliani has replied to reports that Real Madrid are once again interested in Ricky Kakà : 'My friend Mijatovic, without wanting to cause problems, I agree with him that Kakà is a really great player. So for this reason Kakà is absolutely untransferable.'

All Real players put together still won't be enough. Kakà is something that happens once in a very long while, and Berlusconi will never let him go, even if it means we'll take Ronaldinho instead. Ricky is staying with us for a long while, get used to it.

Lol Ronaldo.... Reals entire squad couldn't replace a player like Ricky, a player that can decide a game on his own. The football world doesn't have much of these players, that's why Real wants Ricky so badly.
Edit: Ouch, X-Offender was faster than me, of course I agree 100% with him!

I wouldn't take Ronaldo if Real offered him to us. Unless of course they'd give us Ronaldo in a player + cash deal. Give us 20 mill and Ronaldo.

20 Million and Ronaldo? That 20 millon would dissapear in 5 days, and we will be left with Ronaldo...
