Italy are ready to stun Argentina by claiming superkid Fernando Forestieri as their own.
The 16 year-old is with Serie B Genoa and already is being likened to Barcelona star Leo Messi.

Forestieri was called up to Argentina U17 squad for a four-team tournament, but refused to accept the selection.

Italy officials are confident of capping Forestieri, who has already participated in an U17 Italy training camp, for the European Championship qualifiers to be played in November.
