Serie D/A ... not a real challenge
Varese is a city in north-western Lombardy, northern Italy, 55 km north of Milan.

Wow that was fast.
Well we won't have any of our internationals, except for Seedorf.
btw does anyone know if Maldini will be ready for the next season? Maybe we can see him play in one of these friendlies

I'm pretty sure Maldini, Kaladze and Nesta will be available for this match. I heard from Kaladze himself that he will play in the Tim Trophy, while Maldini is back in shape. My only doubt is on Nesta.

Nesta says he is back from the injury on the official website. He is not sure if he is playing in Tim Trophy or not though. They probably won't play him just as a matter of precaution.

By that sentence I meant that we won't have any of our Internationals, I said except for Seedorf because I still consider him an international since he has never said that he intended to retire

Definately, if there wasn't the world cup in the summer he would have already fully recovered, he went into the WC with an injury bothering him, and still played, that game against the Czechs only aggrevated the situation. I wish that Lippi never played him, but no one ever would have imagined thatMatrix would be as good as he was, despite the red card against the Aussies and giving away a penalty in the final, evethough both where wrongfully given.

He has a reputation alright, till he got head-butted on international telivision.
From now on he'll be recognized as the designated person to head-butt, if you feel the urge that is

L'UNDICI TITOLARE CONTRO IL VARESE
03/09/2006
MILAN (4-4-2): Dida; Bonera, Nesta, Maldini, Favalli; Cafu, Brocchi, Seedorf, Serginho; Borriello, Ricardo Oliveira.
This looks like a classic 4-4-2
Looks OK
This is how we can replace Pirlo

I think he is going to use Cafu and Serginho as wingers, not wingbacks, this way Favalli and Bonera won't have to come forward, therefor a more solid defence with Serginho playing in his natural position

I'm pretty sure that the formation will be like this
----------------Dida--------------
Bonera--Nesta--Maldini--Favalli (aah an all Italian defence
)
Cafu-Brocchi-Seedorf-Serginho
---------Boriello--Oliveira--------
Finally I get to see the Nesta--Maldini partnership again.

Yeah that's what I meant. Like not wing forwards, like Jaquin.
I'm excited about that formation too. Let's see if Milan can adapt to it. Good to see Ancelotti trying out different formations.

Carlo will probably try out diff formations .. as it is obvious with this one .. But I think he'll try other things out as well. I think the internationals don't play a part in this game, cz their playing France on the 6th
