A.C. MILAN OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
8/25/2006
A.C. MILAN have announced that the negotiations regarding the possible transfer of Ronaldo must be considered definitely finished.

Why not a pack of Tevez and Mascherano?
This would be great!!!

This is getting bloody ridiculous.. we've qualified for the champions league and got an insanely easy group. Still nothing has happened in strengthening our squad. Which I wish was the case.. but we need players for the starting 11 if we plan to be competitive against the best.

OMG I'm so pissed right now.. 6 days left and realistically its unlikely were going to sign three players.

Ronaldo - officially over
Gallas - most likely go to arsenal for cole
Teves - attitude problems concern me
Buffon - pledged to stay with juve
Torres - take a miracle

Does not leave us much.. sad.gif

That's good news. smile.gif

Berlusconi 'Non compreremo Ronaldo'.

Regarding to the clubs attitude, we won`t play the Xtree. But I think we should concentrate now on some other possible deals - Gallas for the first. And then why not Drogba, Adriano even Robinho. In my opinion they are all equal or better to Tevez? And I said this a few times - Tevez is looking for and England move. It`s most unlike he`ll join us. But I still belive we will sign someone the fan pressure is so tightening that now, it could just be anyone. Maybe Boban and Weah will step out from retirement to help up our desperate situation. But really, we are all acting a bit greedy and avaricious. It`s not the end of the world when we stay like we are now, I mean our team. We have plenty of great players, and I`ve seen many clubs with even less quality winning titles.

I allways chear for a proper, reasonable and premeditated move, transfer action. If this cannot be established then we should let it down.

Milan end Ronaldo chase

Milan have failed in their attempt to sign Real Madrid striker Ronaldo, the Italian club have confirmed on Friday.

“Milan would like to communicate that negotiations over Ronaldo’s possible transfer should now be considered as definitely over,” a note on their website stated.

The two clubs have been in talks over the Brazilian for the last few days, but no compromise could be reached regarding a fee.

This afternoon’s development comes just hours after Brazilian newspaper Globo reported that an agreement had been found with the player.

They claimed that the international had accepted a five-year contract which would allow him to maintain control of his image rights.

However, the Via Turati club now seem to have definitely put the Ronaldo option behind them and are considering alternative options.

The next name on Milan’s shortlist is Betis Seville striker Ricardo Oliveira and reports in Spain suggest that a £6.7m offer has already been made.

The player has just returned after a loan spell with Sao Paulo and was handed a £700,000 fine, having prolonged his stay in Brazil by nine days without being authorised by the Spanish club.

On the other hand, Inter may try to take advantage of the situation and the Spanish newspaper AS suggests they have proposed a swap deal with Real Madrid for Ronaldo involving Adriano.

But Inter technical director Lele Oriali has denied such a scenario developing, saying the Nerazzurri are not interested in their former striker.

“This is pure fantasy, we are happy with the players we have and we are sure that Adriano will have a good season,” he said.

“If we had been interested in Ronaldo we would have made an offer.”

Inter will never sell Adriano to Milan.Real likwise. Mourinho would only let Drogba go if he had Tevez or someone else ...

Since Oliveira seems to be the newest player that is being linked to us I looked him up on youtube. These are a few goals that I found

Oliveira 1

Oliveira 2

Oliveira 3

Oliveira 4

And some people that watch La Liga regularly say that he is good and is preety much a goal machine. I don't know if he will work out for us or if they are really interested in him.

And some are saying that he is coming to Milan for a medical today. So who knows what will happen, this might just turn out to be another Sobis rerun

it says what we've read through FI and the official site. Milan have met with Roberto Assis (Ronaldinho's brother and manager) to discuss only about Oliveira (not that they would know if they talked about Ronaldinho) and Milan are willing to offer 10m EUR while Betis want 18m EUR but this will probably be sortened out. Inter also seem to have an option to block Ronaldo's move and they would probably do it if Real and Milan had agreed on a deal ... filthy that is but I wouldn't expect more from such losers ... puke.gif

I know Ricardo Oliveira from Betis and Sao Paulo matches.

He's good. Quick, can drible, pass, assist, shot, etc. But... to replace Shevchenko?

In 1 to 20, if Sheva is 20, I'll give Oliveira a 15. Tevez 19 and Sobis 16.

Red Star: Prosinecki, Savicevic & Belodedici (better than OM?)

Porto: Deco and Mourinho

Liverpool: Gerrard, Alonso & Benitez

All teams had some undisputable qualities. Only the best players are able to repeat their best performances again and again. But a winning team is not only constructed with the best players, it takes far more. I just wanna say that, if we would win the CL or SA with the present team, i would not be luck.

He'll reach that value in 4-5 years, I believe. The best age for fowards it's 27-28.

Same for Sobis.

You don't consider Liverpool's win lucky???? They managed to get 3 goals in six minutes, one of them was a dive by gerrard to get the penalty but they still got it, Sheva had a perfectly good goal disallowed and we missed a dozen sitters. Then they win on penalties, if that isn't luck I don't know what is.

And Porto I don't consider that lucky that year was a bit of a joke, the small teams made it to the semi finals and to the final.

No it won't be lucky, if our players want it and play well then we have a strong enough team to win both competitions even if we don't get a striker.

I myself consider someone lucky bvy the way they won the competition, if it was by a miraculous manner ie. Liverpool then I consider them lucky. If the team worked hard enough and wanted it enough and won it, even if they didn't have a team filled with super stars I wouldn't call them lucky

I just told I don`t belive in luck at all. Maybe it was gods will, or the cosmic constellation. Maybe Milan should have thought about defense...it was so typicall English to reduce a 3-0 lead to 3-3. When the first goal happened, I knew the others will come. Then we, had some chances, but did not used them. And then a chatastrophic penalty display without the needed concentration huh.gif . Yeah that's what concerns me with any striker we bring in, especially if they are from spain, and I think that is why they where going for Ronaldo since he is proven in Serie A already, I don't think that they want to take that much of a risk, since if the player they buy now won't work out, we'l get stuck with him

When I was mwatching that match I had that feeling too, I don't know why, I guess I was right cry.gif I had seen Liverpool coming from behind a couple of times already in that CL, and yes it I think that it was meant to be that they won it, it seems that way if you watch how they got to the final, it was definately in miraculous sircumstances.

I know we had our luck in that PSV game, but they managed to get by miracyulously on too many occasions, it just wasn't meant to be for us to win it

But I still believe that there are those who are lucky and those who are just cursed with bad luck

Guys, I don't know about you, but I'm happy that we're close to Oliveira. I like him a lot. I used to follow Betis' in 2004/2005 when they finished 4th and he along with Joaquín were my favourites. At least, he's miles better than Iaquinta or even Ronaldo IMO. Here's some info about him:

when you win a competition based on such players as Dudek, Baros, Biscan and next season you don't even risk putting them in then it is f@cking luck or maybe,as you said, God wanted to give it back to them considering the Heyzel incident ... same difference; they didn't deserve it that's what I meant in the first place.

Unlike Inter fans I'd rather not win something that I deserve that win something that I do not deserve. That's just my opinion though ...
