Suppose he is the only striker left to pick (I reall don`t have a clue why we are not trying to bring Tevez, Drogba, Adriano or Klose instead)...would you pick "the Ronaldo" or stay rather armed with lethal strikers like Borrielo and Amoroso?

Who votes, YES????? mad.gif

Well, if I have to choose between Amoroso, Boriello and Ronaldo, I will definitely pick Ronaldo. What kind of question is that? huh.gif

You guys should not underestimate The ronaldo. He is still the best striker in the world but Sheva is my best in the world. What if The Ronaldo comes and starts playing well for us and we start winning trophies u would say i guess he's not bad after all. Let us wait and see. If ronaldo comes he can help us win trophies. Don't underestimate him.

Ronaldo! ... I'd welcome him ... but as many people say, Torres, Tevez etc ... were all better options ...
Jack Sparrow
well since we only have the skills of Boriello and Amoroso I guess Ronaldo is a no-brainer. He IS LESS OF A HAS-BEEN than Amoroso. Who is a good team man, a 'good apple' tongue.gif but not the world-beating striker we need.
pacang
agreed.. we sign ronaldo now, & he will score.. but in the next few years, he'll lose his pace n we will face the same problem as we face right now.. consider if we sign Tevez or Torres.. at least for the next few years, we won't have to search for a new striker.. they hv a lot dat they can learn from the experts (senior players of Milan ofcourse) & will become one of the world most feared striker..

As in defence, Gallas will be a good signing..

Ronaldo bid failed?

Reports in Spain are suggesting that the negotiations for Ronaldo’s transfer from Real Madrid to Milan have ground to a halt.

The deal seemed near to being closed on Wednesday evening, when Rossoneri Vice-President Adriano Galliani and director general Ariedo Braida flew to Madrid.

The officials met Real President Ramon Calderon and sporting director Predrag Mijatovic, but Spanish newspapers AS and Marca are now claiming that their bid failed.

The Spanish giants apparently insisted on Milan midfielder Kaka being included in the deal, despite the Rossoneri reiterating that he was not for sale.

The Rossoneri tabled an offer of £15.7m for Ronaldo, but AS states that the Merengues are not willing to let him go for less than £21.5m, especially if they cannot get Kaka in exchange.

O Fenomeno’s hopes of returning to the city thus seem over at least for the time being, although the story may not be at its end.

Inter have not ruled out a move to bring the Brazilian back to San Siro and have allegedly proposed a swap deal to Real Madrid involving Adriano, but Calderon does not seem interested in this option.

I wouldn't rate him so low LaPalma. He definitely isn't the striker he used to be, but he's not THAT bad.

He is not THAT bad, in fact he is still very lethal. But if you watch Brazil's WC games, you will see how lazy he was and how many chances he missed just because he couldn't/ didn't want to run 1 meter to get the ball... It was horrible to watch.

Totally right, it's funny how yesterday we were both making fun of him and now we changed our minds, and with the situation we are in I don't understand how the others like portugal and LaPalma haven't changed their minds about him. The situation we are currently doesn't really allow us to be picky.

BTW do you guys think that he has lost a bit of weight

I personally think so, especially in the @ss area

Plus I think he can find motivation again in Miulan especially when playing with Kaka since they do seem to be really close friends

I think he lost JUST A BIT, in the first pic you can see his flabby gut more obviosly and his @ss seems bigger, I'm not saying that he is back in shape but it seems like he has made a bit of improvement, maybe the time he spent at the hospital after the surgery was good for him, you know because hospitaly food isn't good so he cut back a bit

I know it's sad but now I'm hoping we get him, I would like us to play the xmas tree but we know that that won't happen because of Silvio's 'rules' and since he is our best option now I'm really hoping that at least we can get him.

I keep thinking that if they got Sobis in the first place we would have something to fall back on if the Ronaldo deal didn't go through, but now look what's happened we might really start the next season with this team ohmy.gif

But then again I also keep thinking that if Sheva hadn't left us high and dry by announcing that he wants to leave in that las tday of the season we wouldn't have had any of these problem in the first place, all our management would have had to worry about is getting 2 good defenders and we would have been set

And all that for some extra cash, and probably some other thing Abramovic bribed him with to go there, because I know for sure that he didn't leave for family reasons, that was just bull sh!t he fed to the fans to make himself look good, and not like someone that didn't care about all the things that Milan and Silvio have done for him not to mention how all the fans worshipped him like some god. He could have ended things on a high with Milan but decided to leave for whatever Abramovic offered him

It is an interest point.

I think Scheva thought Milan wouldn't have been this stupid in the transfer market.

Let Inter buy up all the strikers. They did it on purpose to try and sabatoge our striker bid. They were even trying to undermine this Ronaldo deal.

The reason why I want Ronaldo is theres some hope that we can get a new and lethal striker in there. Who else is there? Nothings concrete on Tevez or Torres.

Wheres the big surprise?? Is nothing the surprise??? It is surprising..

THAT is something that will definately never happen, he wants to settle in England and I don't think the fans would ever accept him back, I know I wouldn't not after how he left, regerdless of what he had done for Milan, I don't appreciate the manner in which he left.

For me he abbandoned the ship when he thought it was sinking (because of the calciopoli) but thankfully we survived without him and I'm confident that we can even keep going strong without him

For me the competence of management making things happen outweights the caciopoli affair.

This is one of the richest clubs in the world.
Don Silvio is worth 15 billion dollars= Richest man in Italy
We got 30 million pounds from Scheva.= 44 million eoros

44 million + Stams cash + other income==could buy Ibra, Ronie, and Tev/Torres.

Who cares about the affair, we should have made things happen from the minute that we knew we were getting a spot in the scudetto this season. We knew we were going to get into the CL or UEFA cup. If we didn't start rebuilding so we get in the next time.

We should have made sure we had a replacement in line for Scheva before we let him go.

Precisely: Sheva's cash + Stam's cash + Rui Costa's cash + UEFA's 20 millions + the ticket's cash for Serie A and CL + Silvio's billions = Iaquinta

Now is it me or there's someting wrong in that equation? huh.gif

Ronaldo fancies Inter return
Tuesday 31 October, 2006

Unhappy Real Madrid striker Ronaldo is reportedly eyeing a January return to Italian giants Inter.

The Brazilian was left disillusioned after Saturday’s match with Gimnastic when boss Fabio Capello told him to warm up in the second half, but didn’t opt to throw the striker on.

Real chief Ramon Calderon complimented the side for the 3-1 win, but Ronaldo distanced himself from the squad. “I don’t need congratulating as I wasn’t part of the game,” said Il Fenomeno.

It has now emerged that the former Golden Ball winner has asked for crisis talks with Calderon, fuelling speculation that the player may return to Inter as early as January.

Ronaldo controversially walked out on the San Siro outfit in 2002 after the club returned him to full fitness.

However, his relationship with Nerazzurri owner Massimo Moratti has remained excellent, as confirmed by the summer rumours which had already paired Ronaldo with a sensational return.

The Via Durini outfit on the other hand are in need of a striker after Alvaro Recoba’s latest injury and Adriano’s dip in form. The latter could even be included in a swap deal with his countryman.

In the meantime, Brazil Coach Carlos Dunga has left both Adriano and Ronaldo out of his latest squad for the friendly with Switzerland.

“I want to help Adriano, but first of all he must help himself. He’s having a difficult time, therefore he should focus on the job,” said Dunga.

“He must change his behaviour away from the pitch, and the same can be said for Ronaldo,” concluded the Seleçao boss.

Adriano is good but overrated IMO. Ronaldo, at his best, was amazing - the best foward in the world but now? Well, Capello is trying to get somethin' out of him. But with 91Kg for a footballer it's not easy...

I always thought that Adriano would be perfect for us, and all he needs is to cross over from Argie central. But I'm pretty sure Inter won't sell him to us, considering what happened with the sale of Pirlo and Seedorf, I think he would be afraid to risk that happening again
