Cassano is a real talent. I think his best role is a 2nd striker, as he played for Roma (Do you agree with me?), but in Milan we have Kaka plays as a vry similar position with a 2nd striker (AMC). So do we need him?
Remember this naughty boy always ask a place in 1st team, so do Bobo and Gilar.

No, I don't think we do. He's a great footballer, but his attitude stinks in my opinion.

indeed he is a talented player but his behaviour is just rotten the way he acts he doesn't deserve to be playing the game
thats my view of him other people may think different

Yes, Cassano is an obviously talented chap, but I wouldn't sign him because he could have disasterous effect on the team spirit, and tactically he doesn't fit into our formation, due to the tridente Sheva-Gila-Kaká.

Maybe a young striker with less skill but accept to wait for his turn will more useful. Example: Saviola, Chevanton or Bojinov ...
Why don't we keep Pozzi or Boriello this season. Because of 3-man at the first line tactic. We can use him in Italia Cup, some matchs in CL (if we qualified) or when we very close to victory. I think if young player play in his own team, it help him much more than play for some other small teams.

Really need ? No
Usefull ? Keeping in mind that all four strikers wont get injured ? No
He'll be more than welcomed if 1 of our fantastic 4 leaves

completely pointless getting him. we need strong midfielder (vieira-like) and a young defender

You're right! I can't understand Ancelotti's transfer stragedy. He ready let best young defender like Coloccini leave, and said "There are no world class defender on transfer market" >> and now trying to get Kompany. I don't believe Kompany is better than Coloccini.

Well... Milan needs to think substitute Inzaghi soon or later, and maybe Rui Costa too, and don't forget Serginho!, so Milan in near future will have:
Shevchenko 29 years (Chelsea option is there, but I think Ancelotti will leave soon)
Gilardino 24 years (Our next promise for the present and the future)
Vieri 33 years (2 seasons and after he retires)
Kakà 23 years (he needs to improve, he's my idol and I hope he can stay in Milan forever!)
Milan needs new defenders, one or two midfielders and another 1 or 2 strikers
So, maybe not now but... Cassano may arrive next season with Kompany too
he is talented and young, but now there is no site for him... maybe next season Milan can consider him

Coloccini is worst that Laursen, mark my words

, he is overrated, like Samuel...
Kompany is very young and very talented, he can play at the midfield too, no one can be compared to Maldini, but likes Cesc Fabregas in Arsenal, he plays like a veteran

what can I say? he will a great asset to almost every team. so i won't mind if he really joins us, and i will welcome him with open arms. and i do beileve that he will get rid of his bad temper once he gets here.
but the problem is that we are not in desparate need of another attacker, as talented as he is. we do need a good and promising defender. so i wouldn't want to see us (milan) breaking the bank for cassano.
but who knows, again, if he comes, i will be very happy. if not, it is ok too.

Real Madrid reach deal for Roma rebel Cassano
Real Madrid are set to complete the signing of Roma striker Antonio Cassano today.
After a marathon session of negotiations yesterday - which lasted for 12 hours - the two clubs agreed on a fee of £3.75 million for Cassano's transfer. The only point left to be agreed is a settlement between Roma and Cassano over his image rights.
The striker is due £1.2 million-a-year from his image rights agreement and is seeking a total payment for 2005 from the Italian club.
Juventus and Inter Milan attempted to hijack negotiations yesterday, but Cassano made it clear to Roma management that Real Madrid was the club he wanted to join - either this month or in June. After initially demanding £5 million, Roma were eventually wore down by Real to accept a £3.75 million fee for the Italy international.
Cassano is expected in Madrid tomorrow to be presented to the local media. Such is the confidence of those involved, it's been predicted that at 10am Roma will sign off on an image rights settlement with Cassano's representatives as the final piece in the transfer.
Roma sports chief Daniele Prade and finance director Cristina Mazzoleni will jet to Madrid today to sign contracts.
Real Madrid won't consider announcing the signing today because of their big Copa del Rey tie with Athletic Bilbao this evening.

Madrid may perhaps turn it around, their just rebuilding. They have the elements but too many injuries this season. When they had a full squad before Ronaldo's first injury they looked pretty solid. They'll eventually get it together, but not enough to get past Barca or CL title contention.
Cassano is moving to a place where space is given and defenses are easier to penetrate. They also have a pretty creative midfield to feed balls. I think staying at Roma would have been more of a disaster to his career. Think about if Totti went to a first rate club, he could be up for world player, but I respect him for his Roma pride.
I think he himself, will be his demise.
Cassano would have been a good replacement for Vieri, but its written in stone now.
