TuttoMercato
It says that after
losing Ibrahimovic, we're now after Drogba or Trezeguet, 28 and 29 yo.
It's good to see Milan is looking for young players and specially WAY different type of strikers than Gila/Pippo.
PS: I hope this is a joke.

I'm sure these are all just empty rumors that will come to nothing in the end just like the Ibra, Buffon, Zambrotta and all the other players that have been linked to us. We don't need another striker like that, and I personally think that the Ibra thing was completely false and we never where as interested as everyone claimed us to be.
Who knows if maybe we had a deal with Juve to be "interested" so to speak to make Moratti cough up more cash to ward our fake interest off, so that Juve could make more money from him, and we get something good in return for our kind gesture (or we could say handing out the olive branch to them by doing this "good" deed) and they let us get Gigi, but only in exchange for Amelia

Personally I don't think either one of these players will come to Milan.
Theres no way Chelsea will release Drogba.
--Once again weak ole Milan didn't need a huge transfer fee for Scheva. What they need was a striker and a defender(drogba and gallas)?
-They should have negociated
-Instead of the two we got Favalli and Bonera.
-Don't forget we have the second richest club owner with Bertlci.
Trez is better than some of the strikers that we have but we need forwards with Play ability.
There are no visible forwards left. Torres or Ronaldo could fill the void. I don't Ronaldo leaving Real. I possibly see Torres leaving Atletico.

Aug 10 2006, 06:24 PM
As for Torres its questionable
this is a Tribal Football article which should be heald with grain of salt. Within the second article there is another that tells the truth.
Torres set to sign new Atletico Madrid contract
tribalfooball.com - August 10, 2006
Fernando Torres is ready to end all speculation over his future by signing a new contract extension with Atletico Madrid.
The young striker intends to ink a deal through to 2009, an extension of 12 months on his existing agreement.
Atletico chief Miguel Angel Gil Marin and Torres' agents have been in talks this week and the striker is expected to put pen to paper before Monday.
Torres will receive a pay-rise and his buyout clause is also likely to be increased.

Tribal Football's fulla crap! Drogba or Trezeguet for the attack? NO, NO & HELL NO!!! Don't want Drogba anywhere near Milan!

Or Trez for that matter, but I'm sure he'll stay with Ru-B-entus, especially after being offered that kind of money! If not, Roma were interested in him.
After IbrahimoBITCH going to the sewers of Milan (the City), the only remote possibilities of getting a second striker are Torres (pretty sure he'll stay in Madrid) & Tevez - who does he play for again?

I believe you'll only see any official new, on the last 5 days of the month (after we confirm the CL). So... you'll wait 2 weeks more.

Yes in Italy is different, coz in England the manager decides but in fact thats why in England Ferguson, Mourinho, Wenger... etc are called MANAGERs coz they got all the power buy and sell and in Italy Ancelotti and everyother trainer is called a coach

not a manager

I think that they have already worked it out but are waiting for the right moment, braida didn't say that there will be a present for the fans for nothing, you'll see that someone great will come by the end of the transfer market, I only hope that they can atleast make one signing for our defense

We just spent 23 Million € on Gila last season, this wasn't a cheap one after all. I don't think we'll sign Drogba or Trezeguet, even though they're in their best Milan transfer age. But Chelsea won't release Drogba after Crespo left, and I simply don't want Trezeguet...

Wait a minute. Wasn't Milan going to sell Dida to Corinthias if we got Buffon? Hmmm, this smells like a deal. Now, from what I read: Livorno get Storari from Messina and then we get Amelia from them giving money + Borrielo. After that, we get Buffon from Juve giving Ameila + some cash. And after that, we get Tevez from Corinthias giving Dida + cash. Gosh, I'm such a dreamer

That's exactly what I've been saying Milan have been very secretive, but the Livorno president might have stepped a bit on that, with his big reveal about the Amelia thing.
It might seem to farfetched but maybe that's just what's going to happen, and Silvio and the whole Milan management have had this planned out (::warning:: going to make this idea more farfethced) maybe they have spies lurking in our forum hearing all the b!tching we have been doing and while reeding this they where engaging in evil laughs.

In some team forums from time to time board members or team members come to answer questions about a team. I think it will be hard to do it here but we have so many questions to ask them...

Actually, Buffon is a great player but at this time, GK is not our concern. Dida still is a world class GK as he showed in last match with Red Star. What we need now is a top goal machine.
You said we should be patient and wait till very end of the transfer season but at least can you tell me a name that give me some hope?
If we sign Tevez, I surely it will be a huge mistake for Milan. He cannot head, and Gilar is very weak in heading too. That's mean Milan reduce a half of our attacking strength. It's a disater!!!!

I seem to differ in that i would happily welcome Trezeguet, indeed i am very keen for him. His goals will compensate for what we have lost in Sheva's scoring ability. Sure, he is not the same player on the ball, but I think we're forgetting that we have a whole midfield, and Kaka to supply, assist and do do the fancywork. Plus, I disagree that Gila is a pure Pippo style player. I feel he is far closer to Sheva in his style, so we dont necessarily need a new creative type.
Tevez would be great I think. I really hope we can snare him.
I don't want Drogba, or Torres, and deffo not Diarra.

Yes I believe Milan can bring him back to shape, but what I doubt is him coming back to th Ronaldo that we all knew. That Ronaldo is history, I really do feel sorry for him, he was the best, but now after the injury he cant do it any more .. Not as fluid as he once was.
R we willing to take a risk with him? I dont know, maybe we could use him as a third or fourth striker. I doubt that Milan would consider him to be the surprise ..

Although he is better than Ibra in scoring more goals, it makes it difficult for Juve to let him go .. He has a goal record at Juve, dont remember the figures, but he might make history this season or the next, by becoming the #1 all time greatest scorer for Juve .. Something like that ..
So I highly doubt Trez to leave them ..

It's Paolo Liguori, Tgcom director and a close person to Milan's management. He says the club's reflecting about the striker cause they don't want to make a mistake and one between Torres and Drogba should come. Also I read somewhere else that indeed Torres and Drogba are Milan's real objectives and Ronaldo and Trezeguet are just speculative voices. I really hope it's El Niño.
