Sevilla resisted a bid from AC Milan for fullback Daniel Alves last week, it has been revealed.
The Brazilian was a top target for Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez, but Sevilla refused to budge from their £12 million valuation.

Milan tabled an £8 million bid last week, but like Liverpool were told the offer fell well short of Sevilla's asking price

I have seen him play last year and I liked what I saw. He is only 23 and very talented. If we will get him we will solve the RB position problem for a long time. But £12 million is a little high

Bonera stopped hope for Alves

Not at all. Milan is still trying to sign Oddo or Alves because Bonera isn't natural RB and will be playing as CB most of the time

Yea .. Bonera is much better if paired with Nesta than being placed on the right flank .. Oddo, IMO, would be less risky than bringing in Alves .. i.e. Alves lacks experience in Serie A, and Milan need a ready to go right back, not a potential

Miguel only thinks in $$$. He'll bring problems to the team. He's a very good RB/winger but... good for Valencia.
