MILAN - Adriano Galliani spoke with the Milan Channel: ‘It was a good result. There was only too lofty, but it was a very dignified game. Kakà did well to assist Gilardino and Alberto sealed the outcome. Milan treat the Italian Cup as an important engagement, just as do the other teams. In the quarter-finals, the top eight teams are all playing with their best players. It is our duty to our fans. Amoroso is still getting into his stride. He hasn’t really played since that game in Yokohama against Liverpool and he needs another two weeks. However, his technique is right on the money.’ The chief executive then commented on Uefa’s descision to not open an inquest into the 1993 European Cup final between Marseille and Milan: ‘We wanted to focus on sportsmanship. It has been a long time, but the player’s statements deserve attention.’
