That's because of thier coach.. Do u think Carlo could do it again? I think Costacurta was right he lost his edge with the team.

I cant see us beating Bayern Munich in our current form, much less win the Champions League.
We need defenders or we need our 1st 4 defenders fully fit for the rest of the season.
That means Nesta, Maldini, Stam & Cafu being fully fit for the rest of the season, and i just cant see that happening.

Offcourse Milan can win the champions league. Any team can win it now.
Alltough I dont think many peeps are considering Milan as a top favourite anymore.

It's true, since UEFA changed the structure of the CL we have had Porto & Liverpool win it, who would have thought of those 2 winning it when there were 2 league stages?

Teams who win CL on the latest years had great coaches. Mourinho, Benitez... it was a suprise for the team. But they're really good.
At the moment, we don't have a coach. So, I don't think we're going to win the CL. We can... but... I don't think so.

If Carlo plays his cards right we can win CL. Rest the players before every CL game, just like he did before the final last year, unfortunaly the second half wasn´t impressive, but the first.

We won't win anything this year because Galliani is cheap. It's seems like they don't care.

of course we could still do it. there is no need to doubt the possibility.

juventus and chelsea and Barcelona are very strong too, but i don't think we are any inferior. we just need to make real good use of our old guns and not to exhaust or injure them for the stupid serie a games. and if Dida comes back to mid-last season, we will be invincible again.

Milan playing bad could be good, i mean many teams will have great respect for Milan, but some will underestimate and us playing against Bayern is good, we play better against big teams then small.

O.k one player and it took a long time until he has arrived. Name one other player in past few years that we spent a lot of money except Gilla. We need a decent left defender almost two years.

What? That doesn't make sense, you said Galliana was cheap we grab a player for £17 mil and you say that's just one player
We're not Chelsea, remember Porto and Liverpool they both won the CL with little finances, although good coaches, unlike us

But one big purchase in almost 3 years isn't enough for super club like Milan.

keep in mind that we spent a lot paying players' salary. and as Ash points out, we are not Chelsea.
having said that, I do agree with you, that we are a big team and should have been less skimpy on money and when we need to spend, we should spend. Galliani has been disappointing me in the past years, like letting Cicinho go to Real Madrid for a mere 5M.

I hope he can bring Lugano here.

luck is important, but we don't need to be lucky to win. we have very strong squad (at least on paper, if all the oldies are fit and in form), and if we play fully to our potential, so long as we are not extremely unlucky, we have a good chance to win.
