This is a very bad new for Italy and Europe, and for those who think he's going to lower the taxes, well I think you guys should take a very close look at his political view!

Maybe he will make a special arrangement for footballers!?? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Wait a minute,...

Some of you say it's bad for Italy...hmh. Why? After considering the fact that in 60 years Italy had about 60 gouvernments, and that Silvio's one was the first gouvernment in modern italian history (after WWII) that survived the full term I think this isn't just that bad. You know, the main topic in Italy isn't even polution, taxes or restrictions, you vote for the one you think can last, cause you're fed up.

So,..it's not that bad.

For Europe? It's a different story...he's a real thorn for all the pro-EU politicians. Also, his relations with my country were not that good, but still better then with that silly president called Napolitano.. Sure....Prodi was a dissapointment too. But on anotehr topic I already tried to point out why he never had a real chance.
Anyway, I don't see any good in the mere fact that Silvios government is a solid one. That doesn't say anything about it's quality or intentions IMO. Silvio Berlusconi is a businessmann. That's everything he ever was and ever will be. The only reason for his politicial career is to benefit from it as businessman (in the upcoming years for example by cutting the rights of Italian justice.)

Just kidding...I think me and Fillipo are professional who just want to discuss a little.

Okay. But please, those who do wish to discuss, do so in a polite manner and remain respectful of the opinions of others. Or the fish doll will have to find something worse to do than what he did to Ari. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Hmmm ... Politics (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Well, from what I'm reading, Silvio isn't really the goody-good guy for which I usually like to think of him as. Then again he is a politician. ALL politicians have their goals, their benefit, and more importantly their beneficiary (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

The feeling from Southern Italy (i.e. Sicily, Napoli, etc) is that they don't want Silvio ... They have already found it difficult to come by the first time around. They claim he has an agenda, one which is to turn Italy into a federal state, where as to dissect Italy in a way as to keep the rich areas on one side and the poorer (southern) in another. Moreover, he passes laws to benefit himself first and foremost.

All in all, this is politics .. It's dirty, it's degrading when your washed up in it and as much as you soak up in it, there is rarely anything you can do about it. So whether you see him as an angel or a villain, doesn't really matter seeing as he has won and there is nothing more to say.

p.s. Some Italians claim he had the charisma of Obama going into this term (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) ... I'd like to say he has more hair going into this term

I hear in Italy they wonder how can someone that failed in the role of the Prime Minister before be re-elected... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) they know nothing, we've been doing this here in Greece for 28 years!

It's ridiculous... how can a system that was applied thousands of years ago in a place with 30,000 slaves and as many more repressed women be considered the best for today's society? Because it's just like Wiston Churchill said :

"Democracy is the worst form of government - except for all those other forms, that have been tried from time to time."
