Ancelotti keeps his cool

Milan have already wiped out their eight-point penalty after three games, but Carlo Ancelotti is keeping his feet on the ground.

“There is a long road ahead of us and we have to make up a lot of points against quite a few teams,” warned the Coach.

Marek Jankulovski’s header gave them a third straight victory against Ascoli this evening, but the visitors gave them some real problems and rattled the crossbar in stoppages.

“In the first half our performance was middling. If you don’t get an early goal, then it all becomes more difficult.”

Once again Ancelotti rotated the squad with several new faces, including striker Marco Borriello, allowing others to rest.

“This system is absolutely necessary. It’s the only way we can remain competitive in all the games we have to face this season.”

We must by all means stay calm...we have not faced yet a real challenging team like Inter or Roma, even Samp or Palermo. I just hope we won`t loose our good form somewhere in the middle of the seson when the big matches will come... You're right.

Actually right now, I think that we are playing more the 'juve under Cappello style', we are doing just enough to get the result, which is what matters the most right now, I think we will get out of first gear when the CL KOs come.

You mean we are fixing our results? No, just kindding... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

But, this Capello style proved to be very wrong. Cause they lost their big matches, didn`t they?? Especially the CL ones,.. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)
