Emerson is being offered to A.C Milan

MADRID (Spain)

I read an article on calciomercato.it that real madrid are trying lo let go emerson due his poor performances , most of all the one that cost a goal to real madrid against celta , and that milan, is already tracking the brazilian to add him to the squad.

I personally think that we need a diff. kind of player, but if he arrives , well, he will be well recived.

It seems that Emerson can leave Real Madrid if they get Gago in January... great move for them.

For us? Emerson is slow, but good. And Milan's fav age... over the 30's. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

All I have to say about this is (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/puke.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/puke.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/puke.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/puke.gif)

But I really don't believe Capello would let his little pet leave.

And by that we would prove how stupid our management really are, so they let Real take Gago and we end up with the old has been. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

??
I'm surprised this came from u han !

Who is Gago ?! Sure he is a promising prospect .. But this club has never been about raising players .. You of all ppl know this, Milan always goes for experience ahead of youth.

It came from me because I'm getting more then frustrated. Just look at the situation from another perspective then the one that Milan always go for experiance (which is true and I don't disagree with you). So we don't try to fight for a potentially great player and try to buy an old, past his best Emerson off of Madrid (who will try to suck us dry for him, or ask for the 'K' word). And we leave them with the player that has the great future ahead of him.

I'm sorry but I think that wopuld be dumb if this rumour where true.

Galliani said that we where going to start buying young talented players (like Arsenal), this doesn't look like part of that plan

Man, you guys are serious !! You actually think we'll go for youth players ?!

I am shocked (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Well, in all honesty, I never liked Emerson .. But please don't compare Milan to Arsenal .. They arn't even of the same pedigree ..

I get ur frustration .. I too am frustrated .. But the answer to the teams problems isn't by bringing in youth players ..

We have been through a bumpy road, mixed with injuries and out-of-form players, but one thing I am sure of .. If Milan needs a replacment for Maldini or any other, I'm sure the replacment will be worthy and proven .. Not some player who has potential.

Old has been? He's only 30! He still has a great future, let's say about 10 years.
Hmm, no this isn't funny....
Please don't sign that old slow guy Milan!!!!!

He is relatively old and most important don't have the motivation anymore.
We should get him only if we are trying to break a world record of the "most players in a team that are over 30"

Carletto did put in a request for Emerson I think, I wouldn't mind getting Emerson, if they havea youth player whose purpose is to function as understudy.

I do believe we can squeeze out a few years outta Emerson, enough time for the young bloke to step in.
