Bayern don't need anyone besides a decent left back. And there's no one decent on the market who's price tag is not crazy. A club has to pay 20+ million for a player who's been playing one decent season in Portugal or the Netherlands. That's a joke.

Whohohoho...I wouldn't agree - Bayern's defense is more then problematic - IMO they need to pick up Adler or Begnalio (aka a classy keeper solution) and a central defender as well...

I think Butt is good for the moment (till the end of the season). They've probably signed some kinda pre contract with Neuer already. But you're right...a good central defender would be a nice thing for them.
The problem is the market...there's almost no decent full backs available in the world and which central defender should they buy let him play alongside Badstuber? There's some options of course, but who would be significantly better than Van Buyten and come in for a reasonably price? Looking forward to Saturday. Diego is back and I'm curious to see how good Schalke really are. |

I don't think Schalke can make it. HSV showed them a good lesson. But I'm indeed curious.
I'd say Bayern will pick up Adler, but Neuer wouldn't be bad as well. |

Yesterday's game provided a good argument as to why Bayern either need to buy a new centerback or Demichelis needs to make up with Van Gaal. Some dreadful defending led to two goals in the space of a few minutes. FT Bayern 0-2 Kaiserslautern.
