This one still irks me. We signed a goalie we don't need purely because we want to keep his brother happy.

"Jobs for the boys" as we call it here in the UK. It's all about who you know.

Well, Digao all over again...

Indeed.

He looked better than Storari in the friendlies. tongue.gif

Storari is useless. I don't understand the reasoning behind his signing.

Have to say there's a few of the signatures this window that have me scratching my head. As long as the improvement continues I won't complain much though.

I think they kept Storari on as he's an experienced keeper who won't complain about sitting behind a teenager.

He's a decent keeper and unless something catastrophic happens, he won't get any minutes. Plus he's cheap and won't complain either way. Gabriel for example wasn't okay with sitting in the bench, so that's why we've been sending him one loan

What's the story with Gabriel now? What's his status?

Will probably be loaned last I read.

Also, you guys mentioned Digao as the brother who was signed simply because of who he's related to, but let's not forget that we've pulled this same shtick before, with Seedorf's brother, and most recently with Jose Mauri's brother

Cedric Seedorf? Yes, but that was different, the guy was young and a potential.

Seedorf's brother? I don't remember that. What I do remember is his ex-teammate turned cook, Esajas. biggrin.gif

Antonio Donnarumma is the greatest second keeper in Italy. Prove me wrong! :-P
