AC Milan - Milanfan.com _ Archive 06/07 _ Ancelotti Targets A New Striker

QUOTE
The Milan coach spoke about the current transfer market, indicating that the Rossoneri are only looking for a new quick and technical attacker as they are covered in the other positions.

Carlo Ancelotti wanted to explain Milan's situation in the transfer market, in particular with regards to one of their main targets, Brazilian forward Pato, who is also being linked to a Chelsea move.

"Pato is a young player, very young, but it's not just us who like him, as there are many big clubs. If he is the new Kaka? Let's not exaggerate..." biggrin.gif

The main target remains Samuel Eto`o' of Barcelona, even though he is not the only one. However, Ancelotti does not want to mention any other names for the time being.

"Eto`o' is a very important player," admitted Ancelotti to 'Sky'. "If anyone arrives, it will still be an attacker. In defence and in midfield we're fine."

Nothing new...

What happened to Carlo's desire to bring a DM? He's learning from Galliani with that 'we are covered in the other positions' bullshit.

Next it'll be: "We're going to give Oli a second chance after a frustrating year, this leaves us with 4 forwards, there's no need for another."

this really starts to annoy me,..all the other clubs are buying, but we, we just get rid of every youngster oe supplement to our squad and talk that "we are well covered" bullsh@t,...

Look at Barca,...they got Henry, Abidal, Chivu,...

I seems to me that u guys have no idea how Galliani and co. work the transfer market ..

A word of advice, u don't need to complain, this team has always been taken care off. All this talk about we are fine and all is part of Galliani's game.

So don't get into the garbage of "we are fine as we are..". He said that last summer, when we attempted to get R9, and at the end we got R9 (One of the best around, and in his days the best in the world). It is just Galliani's politics, that is all king.gif

[B][FONT=Arial][FONT=Courier][FONT=Times] I dont understand the policy of milan official when it come to tranfer market, we are always left behind. ancelotti is saying we are cover in all area xpect the attack. i dont agree with that infact we are not fully covered in all area from goal keeper to attack. we need a young xperience defender as a long time replacement for maldini and a back up for nesta, not the type of simic and bonera, kaladze is manageable cos he is versatile he can play in central and be a backup for jankulovski.
In midfiel we also need a back up for pirlo, goucruff and ambrossini is not suitable for that, seedorf is no more active again that is he dosen't work with speed again we need a young replacement for him maybe goucruff will fit in for that. in attack we should tempt inter for ibrahimovic since they 've sign more striker and if gilardino is included in the deal we may come out with something positive. to me he (ibrahimovic) is the suitable signing we need in attack he already play in seria A he has the skills to set pace and goal scoring chances for ronaldo.
For pato he will be a great asset for us i dont want us to loose him also.
Some one should please talk to milan official xpecial galiani to change his mind and think again.
