The first half saw Kaka run riot from the word, and come mighty close twice in the early minutes. Then Seedorf set up Ronaldo well, but the Brazilian fluffed his finish, looking a little rusty.
However, the game was still flowing for the Rossoneri, and Kaka once again forced Lecco goalkeeper Varaldi to produce his best.
Milan's low profile opponents were barely hanging on, but that was to come to an end before the break, as Ronaldo picked up a pass from Seedorf and rifled a 30-yard effort into the goal.
The floodgates opened somewhat in the second half as Kaka doubled Milan's lead, third time lucky as he fired home following another superb assist from Seedorf.
Brocchi got the third with a right footed finish after after Kaka's fierce shot was somehow saved, but landed at his feet.
That was that as far as the game was concerned, but Seedorf, who had been stunning all through, got himself a much deserved goal late on with a strike from outside the box.
All in all, a very satisfying display for Ancelotti, and by some distance the best thus far from a Scudetto contender.
