Last year we had 125.5 and this we have 130. I say well done Galliani (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Given the additions... Yeah, just 5m extra on the wage bill is good.

...but then it's still ridiculous that Janku and Oddo make more than, say, Pazzini, Di Natale, Zanetti, Pizarro...

QUOTE (Bluesummers @ Sep 9 2010, 04:17 AM) *

How come Pirlo's was increased? Last I checked he hasn't gotten a contract extension between the 2 publications (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Also we have a lot of really high wages for players that don't deserve them, looking at Inter's and Juve's list. Most of our starters are in the 4 - 5 million mark, when looking at Inter's and Juve's they're mostly in the 3-4 million mark.

That fact that Jankulovski earns more then Pato says it all. I really don't understand what they were thinking giving these players long terms contracts for that kind of money.

Nest season we'll see the number drop significantly thanks to those burden contracts finally ending. Although thanks to that renewal with Oddo we're going to be stuck with him for another 2 seasons and he still pulls in top dollar compared to some of the other really good players in the league.

Well some contracts have clauses that annually raise the players wage. For example if Pirlo's contract is 3 years; every year his contract might increase by .5k or something like that.

I don't exactly know but flamini and nesta got an increase too.

Wow, Pato earns only 1 million?

Edit: Misread it, that was last year. 2.5 million seems more like it.

Well we got him on a free, when he was the hottest player on the market and a lot of other clubs wanted him...

I wouldn't have called him that. He had one good season with Arsenal before that not many people rated him, often being used as a simple utility player and played out of position. I think Birmingham City were interested in him at one point, says a lot. I only remember Juve battling with us to get him as oppose to 'a lot'. I was under the impression we gave him a massive signing on fee over the course of a few years. I didn't realise he was that higher earner in our club...

To have his wages above Pato (almost double) is mistifying, let alone Gattuso...

It's not my sig, I had to put it on because I lost a bet (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Juve were the ones that were the most interested, but a lot of other clubs were mentioned before we signed him. His last season at Arsenal was great though and before that he was used as RB most of he times at Arsenal, but once he had te opporutnity he took it. The fact that he was free though explains his high wage
