0-1. Gilardino. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

But Atalanta at home is not an easy task. Do not underestimate them.

I'd say a brace from Gila and another from a midfielder. Gila will probably start his purple patch of form now that he scored like last season, and when he was at Parma.

But yes Atalanta could be very tricky, I just hope that the team don't enderestimate them, because that's when the problems start. But if the players show the kind of heart they showed against Inter, I'm sure we'll win

I don't think Atalanta are good enough to win. However Milan this season look capable of playing bad enough to lose.

Well we have nothing to lose. In my opinion we need to start with a bang, knock em out before they realize the game is underway. This is a no-brainer for me, the formation that is at least in the first half. 3-4-1-2

Defence: Nesta:o, Paolo (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif) , Simic (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Mid: Janku(LM), Seedorf(CM),Pirlo(CM), Cafu(RM), Kaka(AMF/CF)

Fwds: Gila(LS),Oli(RS)

Are you saying we should play with this formation

----------Nesta--Paolo--Simic----------
--Cafu--Seedorf--Pirlo--Jankulovski--
------------------Kaka-------------------
---------Gilardion-----Oliveira----------

???

First of all I don't think it would ever happen!!

But, I think it could be a good idea, Cafu won't have to come back all the way from defence to supply crosses, which is a good thing because of his age. There would definately be more wing play on our part which is something we are lacking a lot of. But no Rino?? It doesn't look very stable having Pirlo and Seedorf in the middle, I would rest Pirlo and put on Rino

I think we have to show that our game with Inter was not the last thing we could do... We have to easily win the Serie B champions....

---Cafu-----Nesta-----------Paolo------Simic--
------------Seedorf--Pirlo--Jankulovski--------
-----------------------Kaka----------------------
------------Gilardino--------Oliveira------------

This sounds good enough for me...

Simic doesn't play on the left.

I think my formation would be something like this.

Simis--Nesta--Maldini--Janku
-Brocchi--Seedorf--Gourcuff-
------------Kaka---------------
---------Gila----Oliveira-------

Pirlo needs a long rest, he is seriously looking ashen lately, Rino also. So Brocchi in for Rino with Seedorf slipping into the middle and Gourcuff on the left.

I wish I could actually see Kaka taking a rest one of these days, but fact is, we can't afford to rest him, since we rely on him too much for him not to play.

Fine by me. In this game we can even let Favalli play cuz Janku played a lot lately.

My prediction would be 2:0 or 3:0

@han2503

Exactly i want him to play on the left, because he has speed and can stop the attack when Pirlo or Janku loose the ball..

Simic--Nesta--Maldini--Janku
-Rino--Seedorf--Gourcuff-
------------Kaka---------------
---------Gila----Oliveira-------

... for me

or

Simic--Nesta--Maldini--Kaladze
-Seedorf--Gourcuff-Janku----
------------Kaka---------------
---------Gila----Oliveira-------

if we still can't score. Other sub could be bringing in Cafu in Simic's place . And ofcourse Borriello (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Pirlo certainly needs a rest ... Rino can make it !!

I think the open goal net miss was when Gila's bad form peaked. The goal against Inter will go a long way in helping him regain his confidence

Well actually the 3-4-1-2 I stated was before I became convinced that Pirlo needed a rest. But at least Yoann's back. However I do believe Rino needs a rest as bad as Pirlo does.

So yeah maybe I'll put Yoann in instead of Pirlo, like I said in the first half we need to go all out for goals.

Then make a half time sub or even on the hour mark, put on more defensive mids, say Brocchi, I think he is good enough to handle Atalanta.

The reason why we should attack is coz Atalanta are good at home. We can't keep grinding like we've done so far(with outta form players). Go for the jugular in the first 45 minutes. Then choke them for space the second half.

I really can't explain this too much, the way I see it in my head, but if it goes according to plan(my plan)...should be an easy 3-1 victory, I'm allowing for a lazy defence.

QUESTION:

¿HAS SEEDORF ALWAYS PLAYED ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE FIELD?

¿DIDN'T HE PLAYED ON THE RIGHT SIDE WHEN HE WAS AT REAL MADRID AND INTER?
