Adam Johnson

I don't usually do the hype of England players but this guy really impresses me. I remember seeing him at Middlesbrough and thinking he was a good player didn't realise he would get to this level though.

But he has something about him, I think he could be a really, really good/world class footballer in a few years, perhaps our biggest youth breakthrough since Rooney, at least if Man City don't ruin him. Though he does need to keep improving at a fast rate, he is already 23.

And people wonder why I have difficulty cheering for the serbian NT or any of its players.

Johnson is a good player, I think he'll be fine in a 4-5-1/4-3-3/4-2-3-1, problem with him in a 4-4-2 is that he's not very responsible defensively. Great at going at his full back though. Hoping Ash performs well tonight, about time he got a start for England.

Travelling NT support is a little different than travelling club support. Still, though. What those...individuals...did to the stadium and the way they disrupted things....not cool. And I'm not in the least surprised to see this particular NT involved.

I thought he was alright when we played Switzerland at tracking back.

I think he's gaining an attitude problem the more plaudits he gets though, whereas Hart still carries himself well - at least for a footballer.

Yeah, I like Young in a Villa shirt but for England he hasn't really done it on the occasions he has been given, be interesting to see tonight.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Are you sure?? cause I read their keeper had been injured by a flare their ultras had thrown at the team bus. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Eurosport italia is reporting that Stojkovic (who's usually the starting keeper for Serbia) refused to play because the Serbian ultras had threatened his life after the Estonia game.

They're right to call the game though. It's too dangerous to the players and to other fans to risk continuing.

Serbia should forfeit though.

What I've been watching in the past half an hour is an absolute disgrace. Match is being postponed again, probably will be suspended.

The same thing happened when Bosnia came to play in Oslo, fans throwing flares and smoke bombs for no reason at all onto the pitch and disrupting the match.
