Next season, Juve, Genoa and Napoli will be in Serie A. Genoa and Napoli (in second and third places) drew in their game, but Piacenza (in fourth) also drew. Because there was a 10-point gap between third and fourth places as a result of the draws, the third place team automatically goes up.
It'll be an interesting year next year.
(Oh, and Trezeguet made a rude gesture to the Juve VIP area at the end of the Juve game. he's definitely on his way out of Turin.)

QUOTE (Porty @ Jun 10 2007, 04:56 PM) Bit sorry for Juventus fans. Trezeguet is a legend there. Now he'll probably move to another big club. (IMG: http://www.gazzetta.it/Hermes%20Foto/2007/06/10/0JJFBCXM--346x212.jpg) They'll go to some young star like Huntelaar or so to sub him. Just imagine how devestated we would feel if Inzaghi did that to us

Juve have said they won't sell Trezeguet to an Italian club. I think the current speculation includes him maybe going to Spain, to England, or maybe to Lyon.

Juve have specifically said he won't go to the Merda because they don't want to sell him to 'competition' -- they've said they won't repeat what happened last year when Vieira and Zlatan went to the Merda.

Ha the merda are desperate for an icon...all they have in their current team is Zanetti and he isn't even Italian. Must go back to the rift in philosophy in the early 20 th century. I'm so glad my blood is red and black...(IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devil.gif)

QUOTE Udinese president Giampaolo Pozzo has confirmed that Vincenzo Iaquinta is on the verge of completing a move to Juventus.
Iaquinta has been linked with Juve for some time and Pozzo believes a deal will be finalised very soon.
"Iaquinta should join Juve. I think he has already signed," Pozzo told Radio RAI.
"There is an agreement between the sides although it isn't official, now the club needs to finalise details with the player."
"In any case, I don't think there will be any problems.
"If he finds an agreement with Juve the deal is done. They will pay us £7m plus a technical counterpart, which could be Michele Paolucci."
Meanwhile, Pozzo has admitted that Fabio Quagliarella's future could be taken out of Udinese's control if a suitable offer comes in.
Quagliarella, who is co-owned by Udinese and Sampdoria, is one of the hottest properties in Serie A and recently marked his first Italy start with two spectacular goals.
Pozzo said: "We will meet on 20th June and discuss the player's position. There is an excellent relationship between the two clubs.
"We must understand if there are any important offers for him, if a big side wants him, we have no chance of keeping him.
"He is definitely an important player, for his age, his characteristics and what he has shown so far." I see this as a great move for Juve. With Bojinov and Trezeguet almost certainly out, they needed someone who can score goals regularly in Serie A. Del Piero/Iaquinta/Palladino is decent, they need another though. I never knew Quagliarella was co-owned either, thought he was just Sampdoria's player.
