Update:

the following are players we are being linked with on a serious level:

1) Lass Diarra has come to terms with Fenerbache and is close to joining them according to spanish papers. Fenerbache has offered Diarra a much higher wage than milan and that is the reason behind the decline. Price tag unkown

2) Miguel Veloso is close to joining Dynamo Kiev. Mykhailo Spasov an lawyer in ukraine reviewing the case has said that veloso will join in the coming weeks. The reported agreed price is 7m Euros.

3) Aquilani's agent has declined a move to serie A for his client. He has said that Alberto will most likely stay at liverpool.

Let's go for Strootman then. He's cheap, young, with a bright future ahead of him.

Then all these midfielders moving elsewhere have been one for one blessings.

I remember the Strootman stuff suddenly stopped with the say of the agent to decide after the EUROs.

EUROs are done now.

Galliani?

Update:

-Urbano Cairo (Torino's sporting director) has said that he spoke to galliani and that they have a good relationship, which means the transfer will take place sooner or later. Torino are interested in Mesbah.

-Sampdorias sporting director has rejected the talk of cassano arriving, saying it is not the correct time.

-Ganso and Santos are in huge disagreements over contract figures. Santos have offered Ganso 50k week but the brazillian wants 250k. Sources are saying Ganso is trying to push for an exit.

-Taiwo was spotted talking with Marseille directors. A potential switch back maybe on the cards.

I was hoping Ibra would choose #9, with Cassano wearing #10. It makes more sense.

NO! I have a Cassano #99 shirt, I don't want him changing!

There's only 1 club retarded enough to pay that sort of money for him.

Liverpool.

The #10 for Ibra could make sense....I wouldn't mind one bit playing like this next year:

Cassano---Pato
Ibra
Boateng DM Montolivo

This is what's wrong with football. we all criticize clubs like City and PSG for over-spending, but we rarely do the money whores like Diarra who prefer to join Fenerbahce and play in the Turkish league instead of Milan/Serie A if it means they'll get more $$$. there's almost no morality left in football.

-Galliani spoke to Preziosi about a possible destro transfer.

-Preziosi: "Veloso to Milan? No, he has already joined another club."

-Preziosi: "When we reach an agreement with Siena for Destro, then I'll say where he will go to play."

-Galliani: "Milan’s transfer market is closed. Or rather: it's very closed."

-Galliani: "We have 9 midfielders. Our transfer market is closed; both incoming and outgoing. Perhaps only Mesbah will leave."

-Galliani: "A salary increase for Boateng? These are private affairs. All the players at Milan already have extremely high salaries."

-Inzaghi has agreed to become a youth coach for milan. He will hang up his boots and coach allieve nazionale.

-Rumours in the Italian media are coming out that say that this is Allegri's final season with milan if he doesn't win anything. Berlusconi will sack him and try to replace him with Guardiola.

If we brought in Guardiola, we'd have to wait at least 3 years and give him an inoridinate amount of control. Will that happen?

Be rational, we can't afford Guardiola. The Italian press can say all they want, we're smart enough to draw conclusions for ourselves.

Our 9 midfielders:

Boateng
Emanuelson

Nocerino, Montolivo, Flamini
Constant, Ambrosini, Traoré

injured: Muntari - it seems like any other injury to a starter will bite us a lot (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Van Bommel, Aquilani and Seedorf out; Montolivo, Traoré and Constant in; and Flamini back from injury but Muntari long term injured now; are the changes in midfield. We already had a weak midfield, yet we didn't really improve.
