lazio were pathetic in the 2nd, made no effort. and sloppy defence too

Just in the second? They were down right pathetic the entire match. Deserved victory for Juventus. They played against a non-existing opponent.

What is it with these big team against Juve? Why don't they just use the tried and tested forumla that most provincial sides use against them, successfully might I add. Pirlo picks teams apart for fun when the opposition tries to attack and leaves acres of space for Pirlo to basically do whatever he pleases, and once Pirlo starts putting in those balls for runners into space, Juve start creating a gazillion chances. The smaller teams tend to stick to their own half and frustrate Juve endlessly.

Juve should be played on the counter, that's the best tactic against their all action style. Stifling Pirlo is also crucial, yet none of the so called big teams have done that. They just let him do as he pleases. The final big opponent for Juve is Roma, who I would never depend on for anything.

I always said the only way for Juve to win the title is for us to gift wrap it for them and fed ex it. And we did just that in the span of 7 days. Thankyou Allegri

When I watch Juventus, I become incredibly jealous... Incredibly jealous that they can field a fully healthy team whilst we have to rely on the Gattuso's and the De Sciglio's to complete the starting 11. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Don't know, we're barely hanging on

Juve weren't great in the second half yet got the win. Sometimes these things tend to swing a certain way, and it certainly isn't going our way. In fact eveyrthing is going wrong in the most crucial time of the season

At least we won it last season... I'd be devastated if this was our first real shot at the title since 2004. (I hope the team's mood is better than mine!)

Still, I don't want Juventus to win this year. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I really don't.

If we somehow win it in the end it'll be much sweeter though, given everything we went through.

I can't see us winning it at this point. Even if Juve lose points somewhere, we'll probably drop more. The team is on it's last breath. Allegri seems to have lost his marbles lately as well with some of the selections he's made

I was very confident when the bounce of the ball was seemingly going our way, but now it's completely swung in the other direction. Juve will have to mess up big time to lose this now. It's in their hands. They don't have any squad problems to deal with, unlike us

I'm just so frustrated at how we let this slip

I think for once I said that Juve were good against Lazio. Not to say that Lazio were anything special, but they simply played into Juve's hands. Juve's best asset is their physicality, I expected better defensive play from Lazio, and the fact that the winning goal came because the players were more busy trying to fool the ref was just pathetic from them

But they were, weren't they?! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) I mean Juventus were good too most of the time, brought what was necessary in the crunchiest of matches all season, but that doesn't hide some of the 3rd rate stuff I've seen from other teams when playing against them. Absolutely appalling, and lying down for those zebra basturds.

QUOTE
Conte: 'Allegri bores me!'
By Football Italia staff

Antonio Conte prepares Juventus for Cesena’s synthetic pitch, but insists Massimiliano Allegri’s phantom goal obsession “has become deathly dull.”

With only one point separating the teams at the top of the Serie A table, the Milan Coach again referenced the Sulley Muntari strike that crossed the line unseen by officials during their 1-1 draw.

“This issue has become deathly dull,” replied Conte in this morning’s press conference. “After our reaction at Parma we were told to shut up, which is what we did. The others talk every three days and continually repeat the same things.

“In all honesty, this bores me. But then that’s football, let’s move on. Would we deserve the Scudetto? A week ago you said if Juve win then it’s deserved, now seven days later you’ve already changed your minds.”

As things stand, Juventus are one point in front and visit bottom of the table Cesena on Sunday, one of only two Serie A stadiums with a synthetic pitch.

“We will do some tests today on that turf. The positive thing is that there are no holes, but the bounce and speed of the ball do change a little bit. From here to the end of the season they are all very important matches. We mustn’t underestimate anyone, as often points are dropped against virtually relegated teams.

“I expect my men to face Cesena as if this were the game of their lives, because that is what it represents to us. All the remaining matches are games of our lives.”

Leonardo Bonucci is in the squad for this game despite fracturing his nose in an accidental clash of heads with Lazio’s Libor Kozak on Wednesday.

“Bonucci has not been able to train with us because he didn’t have the protective mask. I have Paolo De Ceglie, who is certainly in great shape, although yesterday he got a slight knock to the knee. We’ll evaluate everything after the training session.”

This week director Beppe Marotta stated Juventus are prepared to extend Conte’s contract, but not necessarily that of Alessandro Del Piero.

“It is pleasing to hear the director say those words of respect, friendship and a strong rapport. I agree the moment we all sit round a table to discuss the contract, it will be a pleasurable meeting. Of course we have to talk, this is beyond doubt.

“Del Piero’s future? He gave a very intelligent response when saying his future is the Cesena game. We must try to focus only on imminent issues, which are the most important.”

Juventus squad: 1 Buffon, 3 Chiellini, 4 Caceres, 7 Pepe, 8 Marchisio, 10 Del Piero, 11 De Ceglie, 13 Manninger, 14 Vucinic, 15 Barzagli, 18 Quagliarella, 19 Bonucci, 20 Padoin, 21 Pirlo, 22 Vidal, 23 Borriello, 24 Giaccherini, 26 Lichtsteiner, 28 Estigarribia, 30 Storari, 32 Matri, 34 Marrone

What a Grade A Cunte. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/puke.gif)

We'll see whether he will "move on" as well if they lose their lead thanks to refereeing mistake one of these days. he will be the first to cry like a little b1tch if that happens. fucking hypocrite.

I think Conte hit his head and forgot all their b!tching and whining, simply because they're winning. If they were still drawing games than it would be a different story.

Complaining about a very obvious goal not being given to us in a head to head match is nothing if not rational. We're not whining about imagined penalties
