I can't watch on time either so I just stay away from social media and watch the game on:

livefootballvideo.com

It usually takes them 2 to 3 hours after the game to post the replay

I don't mind Silvestre so much as Birsa. I never expected him to see the field again once Allegri was gone and Honda arrived.

Looks like we might hear something official about Seedorf soon....

Risk worth taking, I think. We can't really get much worse.

Would love to have Astori. We have a huge drop in talent between bench and starters. Not an all-star, but good for squad depth.

Don't think Kaka will be the only one tomorrow...

Just my personal musings: 90% chance for Kaka, 60% chance for Astori, 40% chance for a surprise.

Could also see a few guys leaving tomorrow.

Let's put it this way, and I'm not even going to argue with you about this because I know how you feel about Matri, and in the end Pazzini did prove me and the rest of us wrong, BUT between Matri and Pazzini, Pazzini is the better skilled player and better finisher, we paid more for Matri who was Juve's 4th, I repeat 4th backup and basically funded their Tevez move plus a few extra pocket change. Pazzini scored how many goals last season with the non existant Milan midfield behind him and how many goals did Matri score with Juve's world class midfield behind him?

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BLCABNxCIAA53Xm.jpg:large

Best goals per minute ratio in the Serie A. I'm not saying he's awesome, but it wasn't nearly the repulsive buy that you guys would have us believe.

I think we will pull someone out of Madrid, though I'm not sure it will be Kaka. Maybe two targets, who knows.

If we sign Matri then Niang/Robinho is set to leave or Pazzini's injury/recovery is worse than reported, most likely.

Oh they do know what they are doing alright. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) Siphoning money out of the club and taking the fans, sponsors, and other such stakeholders for a ride. The only one laughing at the moment are the two-bit players we have (save for one or two gems) and the management itself.

They know they can't sink, hence the devil may die attitude. Not sure how long it can last though, the devil may yet die. It was only our name that made some player sign up for us, our legacy, now that's eroding fast.

Do you have any proof or facts to support your statement, or just a doom and gloom attitude?

This club just dropped 20m (an accomplishment in itself) a few months ago to sign a striker that is so popular that he made the cover of the most popular American sports magazine. Thats quite a feat even for an NBA or NFL player, let alone a Serie A striker. We are willing to spend when it makes good business and sporting sense.

As explained by a Fifa agent himself, Milan did nothing wrong with Honda.

http://www.football-italia.net/38231/cska-...ged-minds-honda

I think this debate can be closed. We'll have to agree to disagree because, clearly, a management that brought you 5 CL trophies and 7 Serie A titles doesn't know what they're doing anymore.

I voted Urby as MOM because he didn't fall over laughing and crying when Allegri told him to go out and play right wing. Thats one step away from telling him to go play goalkeeper or CB in the list of positions where I wouldn't play Urby.

Flop was Montolivo not just because he played poorly, I actually think others played worse, but because he is our captain and he bears more responsiblity to lead the team. With Allegri as our coach, our captain becomes more important than ever.

My starting lineup in my perfect world would have Balo as a lone front striker, SES supporting him left of center and Monto behind the two strikers. Boateng, De Jong and Poli in midfield. Defense is MDS, Z, Mexes, Abate.

4-3-1-2

With this lineup we put all of our major gamechangers closer to the goal. The players shouldn't need motivation for this game, they should be ready to go.

QUOTE (Jack Bauer @ Aug 27 2013, 03:24 PM) *
Makes a lot of sense. Thay have been bitching about us and how we handled things all summer long, just few days ago their general manager said that they will “only sell Adem Ljajic to a club that behaves correctly with us and within the sporting rules.” talking about Milan so to say they don't hate us that much is just (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) and I can bring you many quotes like this.

We made our offer to them few weeks ago, regardless of CL outcome and they rejected it. Fiorentina tryed for the past weeks to sell him to other clubs like Spus and A.Madrid, just not to us. One day wouldn't have made any difference because he understood that they were determined not to sell him to Milan. He wanted to stay in Italy and choose Roma. He wanted Milan but not at all cost, of course.

It's not just this, our whole tranfer campaign has been pathetic so far, even more than last summer, but some will be defending the mighty Galliani and buy his bullshit no matter what.

Disagree completely.

http://forzaitalianfootball.com/2013/08/de...leave-the-club/
http://www.fanatix.com/news/fiorentina-own...ew-days/141732/

There's two sources for you right there, with a date of August 27th of their posting. If you can show me something more recent, where it says that Fiorentina wouldn't sell to Milan, then we can talk.

Its the players choice, not bad management. Sorry, I'm not one of the cool kids who just blames the management for everything.

The window isn't even over yet. If you've followed Milan for any kind of extensive period then you know that we operate best at the very end of the window. It makes no sense to grade the performance of anyone or anything until the window is shut. If September 3rd rolls around and we still haven't reinforced the squad, then I will be just as upset as everyone else.

Lets also remember that we're sitting here arguing over something that hasn't even happened yet. Maybe he signs for Roma, maybe not.

Football clubs aren't dumb though. If I were Roma, knowing Ljajic wants out of Fiorentina, I'd give him an offer and say "You've got until the 27th of August, take it or leave it" Does Ljajic take the offer or risk staying at Fiorentina if Milan don't get past PSV and can't afford him? Not to say this has happened, but anything can happen behind the scenes really.

Good point, and they very well could have done that. I guess in this scenario, he has to decide how bad he wants Champions League ball.

Called it few days ago, of course he wouldn't wait for us forever. Galliani pissed them so much so Fiorentina didn't want anything to do with us no matter what.

This transfer window is just a big train wreck for us while all our CL place opponents got stronger. Gonna be a very depressing season.

Doesn't make sense. A direct quote from Fiorentina's sporting director this week when asked if he would sell to Milan is "Never say never." So, obviously, they don't hate us that much.

And the bit about the player not waiting for us forever also doesn't hold much water because if he's waited all summer, what's one more day? Why would he jump ship to Roma when there is only a day left before we know what our budget will look like for the year?

If the player chooses Roma, its not the fault of Milan, its because the player made a personal choice to go to Roma, for whatever reason. I think if a meteor struck the earth tomorrow and wiped out half the planet, whoever remains on this board would be on here blaming Berlusconi and Galliani.

The problem is that we are not the only team interested in him.

I didn't say he's a lock, I just said he's reachable.

It's important to remember that the price tag is not what sells the player, its the will of the player.

Case and point in Honda -- other teams are interested but the will of the player is Milan. Therefore, its Milan's offer or no offer. Is Sakho chooses Milan then it's Milan's price tag. If he chooses Barca, then its theres.

I read his price tag is around €15 million, which is completely out of our range.

When was the last time we bought someone at face value? If PSG open negotiations with us, we'd probably pay no more than 10m.

He's reachable.

Do you guys think that even if we sign Honda now, there will have enough time for him to acclimate to everyone else's style/tendencies to be effective? The first leg is only a week and a half away. On the other hand, since he's playing with CSKA already, he'll be more match-fit than anyone else on the squad.

Hit or miss in my opinion -- some players fit right in, some take a while, and some just never fit in at all. Hard to tell...my biased and hopeful guess is that he'll fit in quickly.

Sore losers. They're bitter becuase the have no leverage. Milan wants player, player wants Milan and the contract is running out. Its 100% a buyers market, and unfortunately for them Milan is the only buyer. They really have nothing to work with at all and we're taking advantage of that.

Milan is doing nothing wrong sticking to their offer.
