This is another must win. If we only could repeat the same Atalanta lineup (bar Matri that is) and regain a bit stability.

It's week 19 Fillipo and you should have let me do it, clearly you were the problem in the situation and that's why we weren't winning (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Hopefully Monto recovers for this one. I'd like to see him, De Jong and Poli in midfield. The only question is who should play alongside Balo. Matri? Robinho? Saponara? I'd obviously go with the latter, but Allegrinho will never play him.

Naah, this is my chance for a clean break in 2014.

Actually, I'd line up De Jong, Monto and Cristante. Why not again?

As for Balo's partner, why not Pazzini?

Because I prefer Poli.

Because he hasn't played in a life-time and comes from a serious surgery?

Cristante was good against Atalanta, I suppose he could do the same against the weak Sassuolo and regain confidence. The same goes to Pazzini. He has to start playing regularly at some point, and it's not that he started training again yesterday. He's been with the team for the last 2-3 matches.

For me Monto should stay away from our first team till either deposed of the captaincy or his confidence has returned.

He's a liability right now - and you guys know I really like and rate him, but at the moment he's just crumpled and his form is abject.

I'd like a midfield V Sass of De Jong, Cristante and Poli. Never EVER going to happen though.

Monto hasn't made one single mistake, how could he be a liability?

Yes, he isn't on form, but he's still the best of the bunch

You talk about Monto being a liability when he hasn't made any mistakes that cost us yet you defend Muntari...

He hasn't made a single mistake? Really??? I think you've lost perspective when Montolivo is concerned.

Name one mistake which cost us points. Because when you label someone a liability that's what it means

That's different though. It wasn't a footballing mistake but a disciplinary one, same thing could be said for Mexes who has basically carried our defence this season all on his own bar a few games where he was suspended or injured, but that punch against Juve was unbelievably stupid. Still it wasn't a mistake. But a disciplinary issue, which is something that's a bit common for Mexes but something that Monto rarely ever did throughout his entire career

I agree with han. Montolivo should always play given our current midfielders.

I think given hes been out a few games he should come on as a sub but not start the game he needs to regain his form. I do think Kaka' should remain captain. I think if De Jong was here a few more seasons he could well step up too he looks like he has the aspect about him.
