It really becomes a bit boring...we (rightfully) complain about the same things week in week out (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Yeah it's getting old, I don't even have the strength to complain about it anymore.

It's much more amazing than you describe it. He plays in a painfully slow and defensive-minded team and gets much less support than he should. Had he been with us 3 years earlier he would even have a chance to get close to the 30 goals mark Don Silvio talked about...

I can't believe that any coach in the world would be satisfied with this squad. It just can't be true.

You think why is Carlo so much loved by Galliani? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif)

Upon seeing the game, it was just.. dull. There just seemed no spark or desire by either team to go out and win it. We got a great goal from Pato, but fell to sleep right after scoring, this is not what experienced defenders should be doing!

We can't afford to drop more points against Lazio, hopefully it'll be something like the game between us at the Olimpico!

We couldn't beat Catania in both league games this season (and I'm not even mentioning the Coppa). This season is so pathetic. We are losing to all these small teams like Empoli at home and drawing with the likes of Catania all the time and getting used to it. I'm not even angry anymore. It has became a routine (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Ancelotti demands focus
February 28 2008, 8:13:24

Carlo Ancelotti has demanded that AC Milan stop throwing away valuable points.

The Rossoneri coach saw his side squander a 1-0 lead at Catania to end up drawing 1-1 in Sicily.

The result meant that the European champions slipped out of the final Champions League berth, two points behind Fiorentina.

The 48-year-old said: "We wasted an opportunity here, as we took the lead and were unable to then secure an important result.

"We allowed ourselves to be taken by surprise on their equaliser which was disappointing. We aren't sharp enough at the moment." (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Despite their inconsistent form, which has seen the San Siro giants draw three out of their last five outings, the form of Alexandre Pato has been one major positive point.

The Brazilian was on target at the Massimino stadium and Ancelotti claimed: "Pato's goal was world class."

The 18-year-old sensation, who only burst on to the Serie A scene in January, has already scored five goals from eight appearances to make him the team's third-top goalscorer.

Only with the Alexandre Pato-Ricky Kaka tandem will AC Milan finish in a top-four position. What do you think?

If I were Ancelotti I'd stop making demands, and start fielding more attacking formations. I mean Favalli, Brocchi, Emerson, Ambrosini in the same line up should be classified as a crime - particularly against teams like Catania. If he was asked why he didn't field a different team for league games, he'd probably come up with some crappy excuse about how the players get tired playing so many games. What he doesn't realise is that Inter, United, Madrid, etc. all have to play the same amount of games as us at the moment, if not more. We need more Attack Minded Players..Just look at Barcelona, Man u, chelsea, Real Madrid and even Inter Milan...Sometimes i get really jealous of this teams especially barcelona..Only Kaka and Pato puts fear into other teams..SEEDORF IS ON AND OFF..I know we world champions but we cannot be playing with the same context anymore..We need people that can hold on to the ball and make defense quivver. AC Milan needs a lot of things. We need help!! From Rikaard's point of view and Ancelotti's point of view, it is really different. We also need good replacements. Our bench compared to other benches in other teams is crap. Sell the old players on d bench or let them retire or something.I'm tired of keeping this in my mind..Just felt i should let ya'll know!!

Then for Pete's sake play the other players in the squad: Gorcuff, Simic, Paloschi, Bonera, instead of slow and old legs. If you have to draw against mid-table teams, then I'd much rather draw with younger players - at least they'll gain something from this. Leave the tiring players for important matches. Seedorf should only play ten games at max in the league per season: only against the top five clubs. The chance he squandered in this match early in the game was only because of his slow movement. And that proved critical in the end. Just because you're unique and have won 4 Champion Leagues with different clubs doesn't make you an automatic starter: (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I'm thinking that in retrospect it's a good thing I didn't have a chance to watch this game. Pretty dire all round. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
