While I totally agree, I would imagine Allegri did not want to risk it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) The rotation business is no business for keepers, most of the time, but I would blame the Smart Alec that excluded Gabriel from the CL list primarily. As for stability of the team, we actually have none, and like will not either in this setup.

So as things stand, just take what comes your way and weather the season as best as possible. My $0.02.

Really? He's made some major mistakes this season

I was being sarcastic. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) I just think that with all the mistakes he's made it's not too shocking that he doesn't get straight back into the team is all. Though I do agree this is hardly the time to be testing and trialing a new keeper.

Mistakes or not, I think Abbiati is still better the Gabriel. When I see the kid on our goal, I see fear in his eyes. His reactions tell you that he isn't ready. Plus, I really don't think Gabriel will turn into anything good.

No, I have high hopes for Gabriel. He may not be ready yet, but playing games is experience, and experience is always good.

Gabriel has a U-20 WC under his belt! I do think he's quality, even if he's a bit green.

Yup, I agree, he should quit Milan and move on.

Found this piece pretty interesting if you haven't read it yet.

http://www.football-italia.net/84838/abbia...longer-my-milan

A pretty damning indictment of some of the players that we have wearing this beautiful shirt....it is disgusting how low this club has fallen in terms of recruiting the wrong type of players not only are they not worth the money but have no class & are so far away from the this club is about we were once classy. I think Miha saw this challenge and thought he and tried his best to rectify the dressing room but alas our board know best (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

The days i wish for the old Guard to come back.

Maldini , Albertini...

Hopefully, these alienated past players will come back to Milan once there is a change in management. I've read multiple times that the Chinese will want to give Paolo an important position in the team.

Plus I've also read about them wanting to bring in Lippi as sort of a director of sport

I think having these kinds of names as your representative when you go out to negotiate with other clubs and companies for marketing deals is hugely important instead of having someone like Galliani who has repeatedly shamed not only his own name but this club's as well
