This is not a rumour or a possible transfer, this is a 'Portugal production'. (It was... but somehow Milan seems to be interested on him, on the same day I posted this... I swear I didn't know that before. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) )

(IMG:http://www.internacional.com.br/imagens/elenco/Sobis_grupo2006.jpg)

Here's Rafael Sobis, from Internacional of Porto Alegre, Brazil. He's probably the best brazillian foward, at the moment, with 21 years old playing in Brazil.

He scored 2 on the last week's Copa dos Libertadores final 1st leg away vs. Sao Paulo (it's the Champions League final there).

I mean. I watch a lot of Brazil's soccer and he his THAT damn good. With that age he can perfectly be a good partnership for Kaka' and Gilardino.
He's not that in-box striker that waits... he likes to go to the wings searching for the ball and that things... but he's impressive.

Here's some stuff of him:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69etnJ0VYr0
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vc8RJSxjD0 (his 2nd goal vs. Sao Paulo, last week)

You can search all over the web: Rafael Sobis ... you'll find a lot of good goals of this wonderful striker.

Do y'a welcome him in San Siro? What if this is the surprise? (I don't believe it... but... you never know)

It's basically what it is on the other post. There are some Brazillian newspapers saying that Milan will try him on the next few days. (After the Libertadores final, today)

The source is the MediaSet channel Italia 1, and the brazillian media.

I've seen a few videos with him on youTube, and all I've got to say is; WOW! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Will try to catch him tonight in the Copa Libertadores as well.

It's at 1:45 AM (UK Time).

A little bit late, but it's the final, 2nd leg, and I'll watch it.

I usually watch Copa Libertadores. Sport TV broadcasts it.

I know a channel here in Sweden that broadcasts it at 2.45 local time, so it won't be a problem. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) The only problem is perhaps to be able to stay up for so long (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

54min... good match so far by Sobis.

In this match, he has only 1 problem. He's being marked by the best CB in South America, Diego Lugano (remember, the link Milan-Lugano some months ago?)... but he's performing good.

Still 1-1. If this ends like this, his team - Internacional - is South-American Champ.

Yeah, I saw some bits from the first half. Sobis moved well, but as you said, Lugano was sticked to his @ss all the time. Too bad the result might have been 2-0 cause Internacional hit the bar at the end of the first half.

FT: Internacional 2-2 Sao Paulo. (Total: 4-3)

Internacional of Porto Alegre (Brazil), of Sobis, is the new South-American Champion.
