Carletto was a very good midfielder in his day. I'm not *quite* old enough to remember him as a Roma player, but I do remember watching him play for Milan. He had the apple cheeks back then too.
There's a link posted in the video section for the 1989 Milan-Madrid game. Carletto had a screamer goal in that game (I think it was the first of the five) that gives you an idea of what he was like as a player. |
