QUOTE (X-Offender @ Mar 3 2011, 08:55 PM) *
We already have a quality team. We only lack certain assets that don't allow us to express our full potential. Two quality fullbacks, one quality CB backup, a trequartista and possibly another DM. In the other sectors we're more than covered. And I'm certain we'll fill those holes this summer. Mexes is already taken, Braida is monitoring plenty of quality fullbacks, Ganso (who's top class from what experts say) is around the corner and maybe another midfielder will come too. I'm certain this signing campaign will be a hot one, as most newspapers are claiming day by day.

Uh-oh. Not him....him and his South American 'discoveries'!! *facepalm*

I don't think we're monitoring any South American fullbacks to be honest. The names on the plate are the various Cissokho, Criscito, Sakho, Bosingwa, Cassani etc.

Apparently, Raiola will be sent to Brazil to monitor the whole Ganso situation (in order not to lose him to merda). Also, he'll keep an eye on Marcelinho.

The original article

Marchetti, Mexes, Bosingwa, Cissokho and Ganso, and we'll be unstoppable.

I think of the Ed, Edd and Eddy cartoon when I see him. But he's a great RB to have unibrow or not

Bosingwa has looked a pretty finished player from what I've seen of him. Maybe a few years ago, not sure he's worth buying now though.

Signing him as a short-term fix for the fullback problem was a good option, but during the summer we should focus on a more permanent option; not someone who's again near 30, but a new and fresh option.

If we sign him, it'd be for free. I'd take him without second thought.

Is marchetti worth it? I mean at this point I wouldn't mind if we bought amelia and made him no 1. He's done pretty well this season.

Why would be relegate Abbiati to No. 2. Has he done anything to deserve this?

Imo,Amelia hasn't been that convincing.I have confidence in Abbiati more, but still he isn't even world class, and has his howlers.Although,I won't really mind seeing him being our No. 1 next season again.

Marchetti was, only a few months ago, the best Italian goalkeeper after Buffon. Then his problems with Cagliari came up and he went under the radar. Amelia has never impressed when he's played, and I've heard we're going to return him back to Genoa at the end of the season.

Marchetti coming doesn't necessarily mean Abbiati being relegated. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
