Just learn't that we actually acquired Prince on a co-own deal rather than a loan...

Ah, so we'll probably pay them the half of his contract if he does well

Boateng showed lots of promise against Lecce. Lets hope he can back that up with more good performances

QUOTE
Boateng pleased with Euro debut
Wednesday 15 September, 2010

Kevin Prince Boateng was pleased with his impressive Champions League debut for Milan after coming off the bench.

“It was difficult for me, as I came in and couldn’t warm up properly. This is football, it happens, and I think I did well,” said the Ghanaian.

He was on the sidelines for the first 15 minutes, but had to quickly make his way on to the pitch after Massimo Ambrosini’s injury.

“I just tried to do my best and help the team, as we lost at the weekend and had to show the fans we could get results and play good football.

“There’s a lot of competition for places in midfield, so all I can do is keep working and hope for the weekend.”

Yes he was erratic, yes he occasionally was out of position...

He still gave speed and movement to our midfield. Keep working KPB, soon enough you'll be a mainstay in midfield.

Athletic player with strength and technique. Reminds me of Zee without the supercomputer inside his head. But we need to really start resting and rotating our players.

True. A strong mid is what will see us through the season, and I'd much rather have at least 4 top performing midfielders than 2. Early days, I know, but Boateng has shown the potential. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Even though he's probably dead tired after the long and taxing EPL season, the World Cup, and even a few trips to Africa with the NT. Good on you, KPB!

No doubt. I was thinking during the World Cup that he can help us, but he has done better than expected.

I'm pretty positive Genoa signed Boateng for the sole purpose of handing him over to us. We didn't want to spend the €5 million of his price tag, so we asked Preziosi to do that for us. Of course, we'll have to pay him next summer in order to make him a definite buy.

Exactly. A financial gain for Genoa, but a footballing loss. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I am sure both clubs had mutual understanding in this matter, so it is a win-win for all parties involved.

I mean, he's been good, better than expected, but I'd hardly rate him as high as Ibra. Football Italia made him out to be the next coming of Zidane. Lets see how he plays against a big team like Roma, and then we'll talk.

“He seemed very calm to me. Let’s face it, we are not lacking in players with a ‘difficult’ character in this team. I’m a bit of a weird guy too, but it’s important to have personality.”

His injury is less serious than what was expected at first.
