What's the point of FFP then? I think something that's going unnoticed is that FFP is really taking the game away from the fans. Ticket prices are having to go up and up every year for teams to try and comply, especially as some leagues have their own FFP now, and the fans can't afford it. FIFA and UEFA are desperate to make football into advertising. Ensuring the top clubs get there all the time and having businessmen sitting in all the seats. |

So FFP is basically none exisistant in the sense that it's not for the betterment of football, just another way for the rich at UEFA to make more money.
The mega rich clubs don't care about a £50m fine. It's essentially saying if youre rich enough, you don't have to play by the rules. Allowing only the rich to get better. Classic UEFA. |
