MILANO - The great talent Alexandre Pato will train with Milan and will be able to play the friendly matches starting from the 3rd of September 2007. From teh 3rd of January 2008 onwards he will also be able to play in the official games.

awesome news!!!! Milan needs a young talent like him and he needs a club like milan... it's kinda cool cuz i can say i've seen a milan player in person... I was waiting for this moment since the end of the season.
I was changing channels and suddenly on MilanChannel I saw Pato wearing (photoshop) Milan jersey. And what is much much better is that he'll come in September and get used with the team mates. GREAT GREAT GREAT.....FINALY! |

As I said in the other thread.
Nice signing, but I don't want to see him play a league or CL game this year (Maybe eve next year) because he simply won't be ready for that kind of competition. But it's important that we've finally signed somebody (Let's see what all of the people in the "We don't need anybody, we already have a great team" camp say about this! Personally I rather see us get young talent and develop the next generation than get these old has beens or rejects from big clubs- Baptista, Emerson, and others. Baptista hasn't done squat in the last two seasons, he's overrated.
And maybe Eto'o will get disgruntled with the Henry situation by January and we can close this down. If you have watched Barcelona's pre-season games Eto'o has started, Henry has replaced him and outshined scoring and assisting in his performances. So I think theres a good chance for him to want to leave where he's at. Its exciting that Pato gets to play immediately as well. |
