About the game, it was too easy. We played in neutral mode, let Monza have the ball, yet could have scored 5-6 in the end. But we're also very shaky defensively. True their goal came from a free kick, but they had their fair share of chances as well. We get caught too easily off guard, way too often there's a huge hole in front of the defence.

Pobega, man. What a useless piece of crap. I have no clue whatsoever why Pioli chooses to play him over Vranckx, who showed in those last 15 minutes how far superior he is. Last week Krunic, this week Pobega. Pioli is a masochist. I have no other explanation.

Nah, it was a great free kick. At the edge of the post. He could have saved it of course, but it wasn't his fault.

Maignan saves that, 100% certain of that.

Just like the one against Empoli, he's late on the jump which makes it a difficult free-kick to save

Another clean sheet f@cked up because of a free-kick.

I thought Dest was good overall. No idea why Pioli subbed him off at half time. Hopefully not another injury.

Sucks so much about Brahim. Just when he had finally found that spark, he gets injured. It's a curse, I tell ya. There are some teams that are truly unlucky when it comes to injuries. Us, Juve, Liverpool at first thought. And then you have fucking Inter who barely get a couple of injuries at best.

Agreed about Dest. I think Pioli wanted to close it out. Messias was playing RB at certain points that was how all over the place Dest was with his positioning. Kalulu also worries me at RB. He get's sucked into the middle too often leaving a free player wide. I notice it a lot against Verona and saw it again today

The first season under Pioli we could have said it was bad luck, same with the second season, but now it has become a common occurrence. All muscle injuries btw. It's obvious that there is something wrong with the training and preparation. Obviously this is not down to Pioli but the team of physios that we have. Don't know if they are part of his team or club appointed, but something has to seriously change at Milanello

I've been saying for years now that the greatest investment this club can make is to overhaul the fitness/medical department. Because these injuries, which seem to happen in clusters are costing us big time. Case in point, the CL this season and last. You cannot go into CL games against the likes of A. Madrid, Chelsea and Liverpool with 8 players missing, 5 of which are starters. Not unless you have a huge roster that's deep enough to handle that kind of hit, which we do not

There is also the issue of how we play, we tend to play a high pressing game which requires high octane performances from the players, Liverpool are the same, obviously they were doing it at a higher level but it is obvious that this kind of game can take its toll on the players

Yeah, the game was a dead rubber. And it's not like we played particularly well either. Good to see us not making a meal out of it though.

Re the bolded part, this has been my mine gripe this season and I mentioned it a lot after the Verona game. We are simply not playing the double pivot as we did last season. It is leaving our defenders completely exposed. People have been critical of our defenders this season, the problem imo is clearly the midfield. We really need to either switch to a 3 man midfield to compensate for the loss of Kessie or Pioli needs to seriously have a re-think about how he's setting up the team. Because something is just not right, and it's clear as day to see that we're too exposed in the centre.

Re Pobega and Krunic, Once again, I just think that for now he's going with the players he trusts most, especially when he's rotating the team. I want to see all the new guys getting more minutes for sure, but I'll give Pioli time to integrate all of them when he thinks is right. We've seen how he's handles Kalulu, Tonali, Leao, Brahim, etc and it's worked out quite well. These kids will get their chance, I'm 100% sure of that

Anyone watched the Fiorentina-Inter match?

Disgusting game.

Di Marco should have been sent off at the 33rd minute, non-existent penalty given to Inter, keeper clearly got a hand on the ball, and that ridiculously lucky winner which started off with a shirt pull by Dzeko...

Same sh1t as last season basically.

Inter's penalty is arguable. The keeper does graze the ball, but he also bulldozes Lautaro. It depends on how the ref interprets it.

But the real stinker here is the last minute goal. Fiorentina's defending was all over the place. And the defender's mistake, absolutely amateurish.

Wel if he touched the ball and it diverted then it's not a pen

For me the biggest scandal is Di Marco being left on the pitch. And then the same people wanted to argue that Tomori's red was justified...

Inter were all over the place as well, so playing 60 minutes with 10-men would have probably meant a loss for them. Or at least a draw

The refereeing has been truly shocking for a while now, and the fact they have VAR that can assist them but the choose not to use it is even more baffling. Case in point the referee who oversaw our game against Atalanta for some odd reason came out and said that Hatebour should have been sent off for the very obvious potential leg breaking foul on Leao, but because the Milan players didn't protest the VAR team didn't intervene. I mean wtf! So they're saying that player should in fact crowd the ref ala Barella and those kind of whiney b!tches, even if the foul is clear and obvious for all to see, it won't be given unless there's drama

The refereeing in Italy is a joke. And for some reason Inter always get calls in their favour.

The refereeing in Italy is a joke. And for some reason Inter always get calls in their favour.

Was watching the Man City game yesterday and it wasn't much better. They just let things go a lot more, but then call a ridiculous penalty where Bernardo clearly stuck out his leg to draw the foul. So, the consistency there is awful as well and there have been a lot more terrible calls as well throughout the season in that league. So, we can't say it's just in Italy. We also saw how that mofo reffed our last CL match, he's German iirc. So it's everywhere. Andit makes it worse because now they can refer to VAR or VAR can intervene but nothing happens

But yesterday in the Inter game it was blatantly bad. The Di Marco one was the worst as that changes the entire dynamic of the game right there. Not to mention he could have broken Bonaventura's leg

Tuned in for the Roma Napoli game in the second half.

Man are they on fine form! Roma held on for as much as they could, but Napoli got a well deserved 3 points. If they keep it up, they will most definitely be crowned with the scudetto.

Milan were the better side when they came face to face, but consistency wise and form wise, Napoli are having a spelndid season.

The sheer amount of goals Chelsea are wasting against Salsburg is insane. Couldn't the fuckers miss them against us.

Napoli look okay but I don't know, there's still just something about them that doesn't scare me as much as Inter do, even with the points as they are.

Thankfully they pulled off the win

Now it's in our hands. Really hoping we don't f@ck this up as we tend to do in this competition

The defense worries me a lot. Tata is an accident waiting to happen and Kjaer and Gabbia are just too slow. Not to mention Kjaer hasn't looked like he's 100% yet since coming back

CDK's confidence seems completely shot

I really abhor the media and the armchair pundits on social media for creating the narrative about him. The pressure is so unnecessary. What should be a time for him to settle in has turned this into a bad situation for him where he feels like he has to score big numbers or otherwise he's a failure
