Great win no doubt, but we should have won this at least 4-0. Our decision-making in the last third continues to be subpar. One sudden Juve goal and everything might have changed.

Anyway, I wanted to point out the rock solid displays of Kalulu and Tomori. Finally back to their levels after the London disaster. Bennacer and Tonali were also fantastic, and kudos to Brahim for finally netting a splendid solo goal.

I didn't like Pobega in midfield. He's too limited and didn't really contribute much to anything. IMO Brahim AM and CDK as RW are the clear way to go, but Pioli is way too conservative with his choices.

I think this game also shows that it was a huge mistake starting Dest against Chelsea. Toure was inevitable with Theo out but Dest as well on the other side really hurt us.

That Chelsea game for me though is still such a head scratching outlier. Because we did not play in our usual way at all. We tried to play a possession game which we're sh!t at and every mistake we made, we got punished for, which is understandable since it is the CL. But Pioli needs to take a long hard look at himself on that front. He's obviously cracked the code for the league. We're the best team in the league, even crippled with injuries we dispatched Juve with ease. The Napoli game was basically us being punished for being wasteful but head to head, we showed that we're better imo. But when it comes to the CL, we change our style. Last season was a complete sh!t show with the refereeing and all the injuries we had during that period, but at least we were brave, this season it's clear that he's committed to taking a different approach, one that does not suit his team, we should have been all over Chelsea last week, but we changed our style for some reason. I really expect a stronger, more energetic display on Tuesday. Hopefully this gives them the boost they need.

Pobega starting in hat AM position was an eyesore. He's so clumsy. Krunic or Vranckx could have done a much better job.


Btw, all the people that keep waffling about Leao being our most important player and we'd struggle without him, need their eyes checked. For me, that player is Theo and by a long way. It feels like this team has no limbs without him.


Also, Gabbia with a great display, we should keep this back 4 until we have Kjaer back. I was worried about him because last time he came up against Vlahovic he got turned inside out and upside down. But today he didn't put a foot wrong. Kalulu is just excellent, period.

Looking at the games we've already played compared to these, it's a much easier schedule.

Obviously we cannot walk any of these but we really need to put together a run here. Napoli, Inter and Juve all have a trickier fixture list coming up. So this should be our opportunity to get ahead of them going into that long break.

Pioli should also consider giving players like Adli, Vranckx and Thaiw more of a chance.

I'm not saying lump them all in at once. But all should be given a chance to play a full match. Especially with all the injuries, it is imperative that we give some of these guys a rest. Tonali and Benna especially

I want to see more of Vranckx. The kid strikes me as a big talent. And of course Adli, whatever happened to him...

The amount of injuries we manage to pile up each season and usually around this time of year, is just too much of a pattern now.



Anyway, I think CDK needed to be sat down for a bit, he's being given too much time imo. And that has impacted him negatively. That AM position should be shared more with Adli and Diaz. CDK has a lot of time to come good, we're just forcing it too much now and he's coming under unnecessary scrutiny. Even if he's apparently one of the highest creators of key passes in games, we just don't finish off the chances regularly. He could be up there with 4 assists if we finish properly, but that's not seen, so now the media and some ridiculous sections of the fan base are criticizing him relentlessly. Pioli is right when mentioning Tonali and Leao. We cannot expect these players to come in and make instant impact.


Really hoping Pioli goes for a solid 4-3-3 tomorrow. And we show our usual selves and not the scared sheep that showed up in London last week

Adli doesn't exist as far as Pioli is concerned. Guy either screwed his wife or he's in a secret relationship with Pioli's lover Krunic. I find no other explanation as to why he would be ignored like this.

4-3-3 is the clear way to go tomorrow given our absences but it sucks that after all this time we still have to rely on duds like Tataursanu, Gabbia and Krunic. These injuries are a true curse. And it's even more baffling that year after year we cannot seem to find a solution to them.
