Btw R7, re Renato. I find it hard to believe that PSG want a player and wouldn't just complete the deal especially when the price is low because of an expiring contract. I don't know of it is us, them or the player holding up the deal. We'll see how it ends but I haven't completely lost faith that we'll bring him in. If we get him and CDK. I think we're good in midfield and attack. Ziyech would be a luxury signing and would make the messias signing even more of a head scratcher. Especially with Alexis still on the books

PSG are waiting to sell first. They have too many mids. The moment some space will become available they'll get him. He's a gone player for us. Which is a shame cos he would have been perfect.

Well aside from Verratti and Wijnaldum non of them are top notch players but all are probably on massive salaries. It's going to be difficult to sell more than Wijnaldum and he's probably going to Roma on loan with PSG having of still pay half of his salary.

We'll see, but I don't think this is the reason for any potential deal stalling. Being over stacked in a department never stopped them before from signing players. They can afford to keep all of them without any issues

Then why are they not signing him? It's the most logical explanation. They have changed technical direction with Ocampos this season, so they are being more cautious, considering they are also experiencing huge losses and the Liga lawsuit about the Mbappe renewal situation.

I am 100% confident Sanches will sign for them, otherwise he'd already be training with us.

I read comments from Albertini when he was questioned about Milan?s transfer activities, he stated that Maldini and Massara started from a while ago and dont act on prematurely. So if the CDK deal closes, I have a strong feeling the Sanches deal will follow along with that Spurs CB.

Think the players already have an agreement, its just Milan negotiating for transfer fees that fit their budgets.

With Ziyech, he is either an alternative for Milan or Milan seriously want to bolster the front line, (Rebic, Leao, CBK, Ziyech, Origi, Giroud, etc) that is serious fire power.

I think it's the opposite actually. If PSG really wanted him, he'd have been a PSG player weeks ago. I agree that their new management team will not act like Leonardo but, his price is minimal and they've signed other players since they started being linked with Sanches.

On the other hand, it is clear funds are tight for us. The management were obviously prioritizing this CDK deal, but with it now done, I think we'll see the other moves being concluded quicker because my thinking is that we've based the entire budget with the CDK transfer sum as a major factor of how we move forward.

This is why I think we let the Botman deal go. The player wanted to come to Milan, that was clear. However I do think that it was us that backed out, and not as the media were saying that he got tired of waiting. The money was never gong to be there to sink another 30m on a CB so we prioritized the CDK signing over Botman. The Kalulu emergence is what probably cause this shift to happen imo

So back to my main point, because I got side tracked, I do think that now that CDK is in the bag, we'll see the other dominos fall quicker. At least that's the theory that I have.

So I'm not saying that you're wrong re PSG-Sanches. You could be 100% right of course. But I've always wondered why they would wait to sign him, especially when the transfer fee is quite low.

I agree that we might see the next 2/3 moves happening quickly now that the "big" signing of the summer is done. We absolutely do need to bring in 2 more players, preferably 3. So we'll see how the management moves now that the CDK deal has been concluded

I think Ziyech is a big opportunity that we shouldn't miss out on. He's a high quality player, that has won big titles. Him coming in would mean that CDK isn't under immense pressure to perform instantly. But yeah, the attack is going to be super stacked for this season if we get Ziyech as well, which once again, makes me scratch my head with regards to the Messias signing. Still makes no sense to me why we wasted 4m when we obviously had much bigger fish in mind for the attack

PSG are stalling for one reason or another, and Sanches is waiting for them. But eventually the time will come when they'll make their offer to Lille and the player will transfer there. In Portugal today they wrote it will be a loan with obligation, and that it's just a matter of time. Just forget about him.

Because if Ziyech doesn't arrive (which is a very concrete possibility at this point), then Messias is the perfect sub to have on the right wing, much more so than Saelemaekers.

I will actually go against the flow on this one and say I wouldn't mind at all if Ziyech doesn't arrive, because I view CDK as a right winger, and because I have tremendous faith in Adli.

They've been saying it's going to be done within the next 48 hours for a month now.

Also, it cannot be a loan with obligation. His contract expires next summer

I disagree re Messias. He has shown us nothing o suggest he'd be the perfect sub for the Italian champions who are also competing in the CL. Sorry, I like the guy but he's not Milan quality. We should have cut our losses and sent him back to Crotone. That's his level

We're not going to get 18m offers for Alexis, that's a pipe dream. So why keep both him and Messias, plus sign CDK and potentially Ziyech as well (just read that we're still interested). The schedule is going to be packed and this kid is going to have a lot of pressure on him considering the transfer fee and the drama to get this over the line, having an experienced player like Ziyech would smooth over his transition into being a first team player. Messias or Alexis should be far away from the field

Agree re Adli, but he's a CM/AM hybrid, has nothing to do with the players being mentioned

They said he'll renew for another year.

I know you don't like Messias, so we'll just have to agree to disagree. I know many Milan fans who value his contribution, and I'm one of them. Last year he had some very decent showings, and also some very bad ones. But that's because he's not starting material. Having him on the bench ready to come in at any moment is the perfect role for him.

And like I said, I value him way more than Saelemaekers who's not even bench material for me at this point. Get rid of him ASAP.

Not so sure Ziyech is coming, man. People are saying he's not part of the plans anymore. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Still makes no sense for me why PSG would formulate that kind of deal for a measly 10m...

Anyway, we'll see what happens. A Kessie replacement should be priority number 1 now with CDK wrapped up.

It's not about not liking him. As a man he's great, puts his head down and works, but in terms of his qualities as a player, he's just not where we need to be aiming, even for a sub

Like I said, with Alexis we're not going to get the 15-18m we're hoping for plus I personally think he's a much more useful utility player than Messias.

I think re Ziyech, if the conditions are right we'll bring him in. But obviously CM and CB will take priority

Ah ok gotcha, but for me it's still a big risk to rely so much on 2 kids for those positions. Ziyech can play RW/AM and he's got a lot of experience. Brahim, Messias, Alexis have all shown that they'e not good enough at this point. Most CL teams don't have such a huge drop off when going to the subs. That's why I still think that if the opportunity is there, we should absolutely go for Ziyech, no hesitation. He'd take our attack to the next level instantly.
