QUOTE (Warchant @ May 12 2008, 04:45 AM)
i sort of agree, but juve also only had the league to look at. we had the cl, world cup, and league for the majority of the season. it's kind of hard to say that juve would be able to compete in all of those with their current team.

i think if juve had lost del piero or trezeguet like we lost sheva they wouldn't be as good as they were this year.
*

juve lost most of their starting 11 after the calciopoli, so i would say thats much worse than just losing one player (sheva) especially when you consider the fact that they lost their "kaka", namely ibra.

They did manage to keep several key players (Gigi, Nedved, Trez, Camo and Del Boy) who were effectively the spine of team (Cannavaro aside)

I think losing practically their whole defense, Emerson, Vieira and Ibra AND being relegated is a million times worse than losing Sheva. And I'm a huge Sheva fan, there's just no comparison as to who was hit harder.

Ibrahimovic wasn't the player he became a la merda ... in fact he was just a good player for them!

True. And I never expected he would rediscover himself especially with Inter...

still imagine us without 6 or 7 first team players even if they werent kaka, sheva, pirlo... we'd be screwed.
