Look, I'm not saying Pirlo was a saint, his own words in his book prove this. But the way the club handled his situation and then to let him go to a direct rival was stupidity at its finest

I find it puzzling how many players and managers fail horribly at Milan.

Pirlo, of course only later on, which how I remember to see it as a massive loss in motivation.

So what's the deal with that? How can lose a player like Pirlo so much motivation at Milan?

Allegri, I find more puzzling, but Ancelotti I remember also had many frustrations and therefore mostly focussed on winning the Champions League, as he didn't receive enough support or funding creating a squad that can win the Serie A also.
