Almost forgot to open it until I read the posts in the Fiorentina thread.
I think this is a pretty good opportunity to bring in another 3 points so we can climb up that table to a less embarrassing position
Poli's back, so I'm really hoping Seedorf will go for the same front 4 as the one in Fiorentina with Poli and De Jong in midfield.
He seriously shouldn't go down the road he had been during that streak of losses and play Poli in the front 4 plus the 2 DMs, that's why we struggle to make the 4-2-3-1 work

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Mar 28 2014, 11:10 PM) Abbiati; Silvestre, Bonera, Rami, Zaccardo; De Jong, Muntari; Honda, Kakà, Taarabt; Balotelli
That defense is comical. Why not Poli instead of Muntari? And I've been griping about Urby, but when your choices at LB ar Urby or f****** Zaccardo, you play Urby FFS! And is Mexes suspended?

QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Mar 29 2014, 09:51 AM) So contemplating going to this match today ... Except it does not seem worthwhile, considering the opposition.
If the team play with the intensity they did against Fiorentina, then the 3 points should be obtainable. However if they have the wrong attitude then we probably would fall to another draw or even loss. Here's to hoping. Looking at that defence I'd seriously think hard about going Seedorf's going to play our slowest CBs at FB and 2 DMs. It might get pretty ugly quick

Well, if both restrain to defensive work, we won't feel any difference to De Sciglio, Constant or Emanuelson.

QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Mar 29 2014, 07:32 PM) Well, if both restrain to defensive work, we won't feel any difference to De Sciglio, Constant or Emanuelson. But they're very slow, we push up and one ball in behind and they're caught out. What saves Urby most of the time due to his complete lack of positional sense is his speed to recover. And isn't Zapata available? Why not Bonera--Zapata--Rami--Urby That looks SO much better than that predicted mess x-off posted And that midfield is also an issue. We don't have any cutting edge when we play 2 pure DMs. It was ok against Fiorentina because we mostly stayed back and hit them on counters, but when WE'RE the ones who are trying to impose ourselves, it get's really difficult to even get the ball to the attackers, let alone trying to score. The game against Lazio showed this very clearly

The game against Lazio showed this very clearly Zapata's available. Not so sure about him being fit, or not though.

QUOTE (Linkman @ Mar 29 2014, 08:39 PM) Looking at our bench, the only one I'd rather have in is Poli.
What happened to Mexes and Abate though? Both injured? Don't know if Mexes is suspended or not. Abate and Monto are injured I'd want Zapata ahead of slowpoke Zaccardo any day of the week
