European and World Footballer of the Year Kaka has consistently been the subject of multi-million pound bids from Chelsea and Real Madrid over the past few years, however Milan have repeatedly stated that the Brazilian is not for sale.

Galliani has revealed that the Rossoneri have received yet another huge offer for their star player.

"For Kaka, a really big offer has arrived from Chelsea," said Galliani to La Stampa, before also revealing that their had been a number of offers for midfield creator Andrea Pirlo.

"For Pirlo, there have been many requests. As for him, neither Pirlo nor his agent have come in to my office asking for an improvement in his salary."

The 29-year-old’s agent was quoted in the press as saying that his client deserved to be paid the same amount of money as Kaka.

The Brazilian currently earns a reported €7.5m a year, while the Italian, despite being a virtual irreplaceable figure at the club, picks up almost half of this, earning €4m.

He's said this before already.

I think what he's trying to say by constantly bringing it up is that if the fans want quality signings to happen Kaka will have to be sold in order to fund that.

So in a nut shell he's saying 'either be happy with what we got and shut up or we can sell Kaka and get players in return'

exactly!...they (Chelsea) also made a inquiry about Pirlo as well, in the thread about Galliani he stated that if it wasn't for Don Silvio the club would be £35m in debt through this summer and it would be easy to sort the debt problem by selling either Kaka or Pirlo like i've said before Chelsea are the exception to the rule but most other big clubs they have to be prudent with the cheque book!

Looks like Galliani has been owned:

Chelsea deny Kaka bid

Chelsea have denied lodging a bid with Milan for Kaka, according to Sky Sports News.

Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani claimed on Sunday that the Serie A club had received 'a really big offer' from the Blues.

The Rossoneri have repeatedly stated the Brazilian playmaker is not for sale, while Kaka has voiced his intention to stay at Giuseppe Meazza.

It now appears that Chelsea are not interested in signing Kaka, even though they have been linked with a big-money move for some time.

The speculation has increased since the appointment of Luiz Felipe Scolari as manager at Stamford Bridge.
Training

The former Brazil and Portugal boss officially took up his post at the start of the month and on Sunday he visited the club's Cobham training ground for the first time.

The players will return for pre-season on Monday and Scolari is relishing the challenge in front of him.

He told the club'sofficial website: "It is fantastic to finally be here. The training ground is world class and I am very impressed by everything I have seen and heard from the staff.

"I am looking forward to welcoming the players back from their summer holidays tomorrow so we can start working together."

Perhaps Galliani should stop lying (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Perhaps Chelsea should? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

I mean is it really so hard to believe Chelsea would not lodge a bid for Kaka? They're the only club who can outbid Real.

I think this is what Galliani meant when he talks about wages. He cannot have R10 come in and give him his Barca salary without hiking the salaries of all the other players, who have played longer and won more. Like Pirlo, Rino, Nesta etc. It's an ethical issue. R10 is not the world beater he was.

I'm not sure who to believe either anymore (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/realmad.gif)

Dinho should stfu & take whatever is offered! He (like Ronaldo when he came here) is in no position to demand anything and should be grateful he still has a shot with a top team. Besides he already agreed terms with Milan which surely would've included wages not just length of contract.

Galliani replies to what the 'Daily Express' reported about Kaka' being a done deal for Chelsea, since Scolari is the new coach. As a reply to Galliani's interview in La Stampa, when he said that there was a mega offer that came in.

Galliani said to SKY: "I can prove to you and assure you that Chelsea made an official offer for Kaka' and I replied to them that we are not interested in selling Kaka'. I stopped everything, even before receiving the offer, that is why I don't know if their offer was 94MM Eur."

They don't call him Doctor for nothing. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Pure comedy genius.

When Einstein presented his Theory of Relativity only, what six or twelve people understood it? I'd be very surprised if more than one person in the world understands what crap comes out of Galliani's beak. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) If someone archives, records and keeps track of all his words he's given to the media, he'd probably go mad and die a virgin. Not only this, he's made some very strange and contradicting statements over the years. I only wish he'd retire and someone like Leonardo takes his place to lead the club. At least we'll have someone reliable and classy at the top, instead of this, this doctor guy.

Doubt it's gonna happen in my lifetime, though.

Strange to see what Leonardo says then:

Milan still keen on strike duo

Milan have not ruled out the possibility of making an approach for Didier Drogba and Emmanuel Adebayor.

Both players have been heavily linked with a summer move to the San Siro, although the Serie A giants are yet to make an official approach for either.

Chelsea striker Drogba has been a long-term target for the Rossoneri, while Arsenal hit-man Adebayor is a reported target for a number of clubs - despite the Gunners' insistence that he is not for sale.

Despite neither player having stated their desire to leave their present employers, or an approach for their services having been made, Milan's technical director Leonardo confirmed that the African duo remain high on the club's wish list.

"It's no secret we're interested in signing a forward and are studying candidates," said the Brazilian.

"Drogba is a fine player and Adebayor is a player I really like. We are waiting for the right time to move."

Relationship

Meanwhile, Leonardo reiterated Milan's stance concerning Chelsea's reported pursuit of World Player of the Year, Kaka.

"I can only repeat what we keep saying - there is no possibility of Kaka moving away from Milan," he told the BBC.

"We have not received an official bid for him. He is very close to AC Milan and has a very, very good relationship with the club."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So Leonardo is saying no official bid has arrived for kaka, yet galliani says they've offered €94m for him?!?!?

Between galliani and Leonardo I know who I could trust (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Being cynical now, but I reckon galliani has concocted this story to backup his "Milan fans should be grateful to us for what we've done" yet, in my eyes, he's made himself and the club look ridiculous. Why can't he leave and Leonardo take over?!?!

Well, from that thing I_Ross posted from Leonardo, somebody has to be lying. Either it's Chelsea & Leonardo OR Galliani. I'm sure it doesn't take a genius to work that one out.

he said that they inquired and right off the bat he refused. clubs inquire about players all the time, it's nothing official and it's certainly not a bid.
