Form Guide: Milan (D L D - -) Cesena (L L L - -)

Last season: Milan 2-0 Cesena

Side notes: Last season Milan found it hard to beat Cesena. The away game ended with a shock defeat, while at San Siro Milan won 2-0, but not in a comfortable way. Milan's form is worrying - last time Milan had 2 points after 3 Serie A games was in 1997/1998 with Fabio Capello. Milan finished 10th that season.

So with our 12 injuries, its going to be interesting how we are going to react to this game.

My line up:

-Abate-Bonera-Silva-Taiwo

-Nocerino-Van B-Emanuelson

---------Aquilani----------

---El Sha-------Cassano

I'd give seedorf and nesta a rest.

My lineup:

Abate---Yepes---Silva-----Zambrotta
----MvB----Aquilani---Nocerino
------------Pharaohino-----------
----------------------------Cassano
------------Pippo/Kinglsey----------

I don't know if Zambrotta is up to it...but I hope so. Nocerino's cover for Abate is laughable. I need someone competent on the right side.

I'd like Stephan to be a little deeper than Cassano. He seems quicker at running with the ball and should be able to transition it faster to offence.

When we push up naturally Aquilani will come up to rush the box, while Nocerino and MvB move more centrally to provide cover.

I don't really mind us playing with a youth striker. If our goals come, they will come from the mid-field.

Pippo, Seedorf , Emmanuelson on the bench to make major offensive changes.

Sad..but that's all we got. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Kingsley is injured, will be out for 3-4 weeks.

Nesta, Van Bommel and Seedorf NEED a rest, otherwise they will die in the pitch. So my line up is this :

Abbiati
Abate - Silva - Yepes - Taiwo
Aquilani - Nocerino - Emanuelson
El Shaarawy
Pippo - Cassano

Seedorf and Ganz to enter in second.

i don't think Allegri will start Pippo, I think we have a good chance in seeing the same line-up minus Pato plus the Pharaoh.

No matter the line-up, this is a must win by any means. We have Juve away after this and we can't afford lose any more points.

Nesta and Seedorf need a rest, especially since we have a CL game and Juve away coming up.

Hopefully this is our last game in full emergency. We should win this at all cost, hoping for Juventus to make a false step in Catania and thus catch them next week in the direct clash. Hopefully we'll have Ibrahimovic and Boateng available by then.

Abbiati makes a mistake and you want to replace him? That would quite boost his confidence. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I don't think Allegri will be resting anyone, we simply have to win this. Maybe Nesta could be left to sit since we'll mostly be the ones with the ball the entire match, but Seedorf will need to be in there, they'll be tough to break down, so Seedorf, Cassano and Aquilani will need to do better then they have been doing.

Seedorf showed signs of finally getting off the mark yesterday, we can't rest him in this one. I'd rather rest him in the CL game, we'll most likely win that without him, especially if Prince and Zlatan are back. Personally I'd switch Seedorf and Aquilani's positions. Seedorf is comfortable in either area of the pitch, while Aquilani clearly isn't.
