By the way, why doesn't De Jong want to renew his contract?

Why would he?

I wouldn't like to let SES go, especially for Destro. I'd give him more time to adjust and get more confidence.

I'd have thought 48 months was long enough but y'know...

Suso has apparently been released by Liverpool and will join us now and not the summer.

Huh... Wonder if he'll be given a chance. We brought in Cerci and have Menez as our only true wingers atm and Pippo either doesn't use them or plays them out of position.

Milan Channel confirm that Pazzini will stay, and that there are no negotiations ongoing with Roma for Destro.

Link

Mediaset also say that we will focus on signing a CM now.

That's good. I hear van Ginkel has been returned, right?

So basically one goal in the Coppa Italia and our striking problems are solved.

Good Lord.

As for CM, it's a position we have 783 players for. A striker is a must.

Yeah, apparently Pazzini who was unnecessary until yesterday now is an option because he scored a goal in the Coppa against Sassuolo. This pathetic management never ceases to amaze me.

As for CM, I disagree, we desperately need a creative mid right now. We can't continue relying on washed Montolivo.

Finally a decision that makes sense

All of which range from mediocre, to average, to mildly good.

We need a proper creative CM in there. Monto is good at holding the ball, spreading play, calming things down and dictating play, but he's not a creative player. He doesn't have the vision to thread a pass, and we desperately need someone like that

We're already glorifying this as some sort of mercato masterstroke. I expect next Galliani to come out and say that Pazzini is the true signing of this window, it's all thanks to president Berlusconi, that we're fine as we are, nobody comes unless someone leaves... Pazzo refuses to leave so we market a failed attempt to get Destro as a sensational retention of Pazzo.
