In other news ...

Linked to Bale. I really hope that does not happen. This is no longer the same player who used to terrorized EPL. This is the player that refuses to go on matches and sleeps while he is on the bench. Injury prone and lazy. No thanks.

Don't worry, we can't afford him.

Completely totally and underly wrong. Bale has been treated absolutely horrifically by Zidane, probably some of the worst treatment I've ever seen. Typical for that disgusting club tbh, but especially bad for this one.

He wasn't sleeping on the bench, he wasn't in the squad and was sat in the stands and was pretending to sleep to mock the fact he'd been exiled.

He's a world class player but Zidane just didn't want him, and has been utterly vile in his treatment of the kid.

Bale has been completely professional, but his manager hasn't.

In short, if we could make Bale happen, we should 1,000,000% do it. He'd be the best player in the league.

PS this story seems, in UK anyway, to be originating from Sempre Milan. Which is, btw, some of the worst-written pile of cr*p I have ever seen.

Not sure how seriously I can take a site which says:

"According to a report from Calciomercato.com, the Welsh international is longer in Zidane’s plans...."

This guy is doing this for a living, and he can't even type.

Of course it's not gonna happen. It's ridiculous to even think about it. We simply can't afford his salary. The guy earns 15M in Madrid. Even if they paid half his wages, we'd still have to pay 7,5M which is totally out of the question after Ibra.

Rumored that Mino is trying to get Donna on a renewed contract for 10m as well (up from his current 6 or 6.5).

Thoughts?

So you expect that he'll leave or we'll settle for 9 or something?

Cuz with his contract up soon, one way or another a negotiation or a decision is going to have to be made.

Latest rumor is that Raiola already has an agreement with Rube for Donna to go there next year on a free transfer..

Yes, I can actually see this happening. Because there's no way in hell we're paying Donnarumma 10M with a release clause of 30M.

Raiola is a dirty b*stard, the worst of his kind. He'll do anything to get as much $$$ as possible for himself and his clients.

No new rumours in the last few days. The Bakayoko negotiations seem in stand-by and we might go for Soumarè (Lille) instead. But other than that, nothing.

So an agent working in the best interests of his clients and himself.

Imprison him immediately for being good at his job (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Well, Abate is Raiola's client, lots of good it has done him. Of course, Abate is not likely to get money in Raiola's pockets, so why bother. Bottom line, you really have an agent primarily out to exploit his cllients in order to get money for himself.

Then there is Gigio, claims great love for the club, get 7M a year (yup 7, his brother is not worth 1M a year), paid more than most GKs, and will not hesitate to ask for a lot more.

Sick of both. Unfortunately, we are not in a position to negotiate.

With all due respect to both of you, despite the fact one of you thinks I'm trolling, the primary function of an agent is to make money.

The reason you both dislike Raiola is he's VERY good at it, and he doesn't care about his clients, except to exploit them.

Well, welcome to the modern world.

The day we see poor little 100K a week footballers being defended because an agent is similarly good at making money out of them is a comical day.

And that day arrived! Woo!

QUOTE
AC Milan is delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Sandro Tonali from Brescia Calcio on loan with the option to make the deal permanent. The player will wear the number 8 jersey.

Born in Lodi on 8 May 2000, Sandro Tonali started playing football with Lombardia Uno, an AC Milan academy, before moving to Piacenza and then, aged 12, to Brescia. Tonali came through the youth ranks of the Rondinelle, making his senior début in Serie B aged 17. In three seasons as a professional player with Brescia, Tonali made 89 appearances, scoring 7 goals.

Sandro has also played for the Italian U19 (11 apps) and U21 (5 apps) teams and made his Italian senior debut on 19 October 2019. He has 3 international caps for the Italian National team.

Ivan Gazidis, CEO of AC Milan, said: "We are delighted to welcome Sandro Tonali to AC Milan. He is one of the most promising young talents in international football. Sandro has a love for the Club and an understanding of its values that will add to what we want to build together. Welcome Sandro!".

Paolo Maldini, AC Milan's Technical Area Director added: “We are excited to welcome Sandro to the Rossoneri family. As a talented, young midfielder he will not only embrace the values of AC Milan but also make a significant contribution to the future success of the Club."
