Trezeguet out and Iaquinta in? Bad... bad for Juve IMO.

I don't mean it's a good move in the sense that they're selling Trezeguet to get Iaquinta. If they're definetly losing David then they needed somebody. He's proven that he can score consistantly in Serie A, in what I think is a pretty average team.

I think kurt is rating Iaquinta an awful lot more highly than I would. Yes, he's a decent enough Serie A striker, yes he was on the Azzurri that won the World Cup, but Iaquinta....well, I'm happy he's going to Juve. He's nowhere near Trezeguet's class though.

Whichever strikers they are able to buy this season it's obviously going to be a downgrade in class. Sometimes it has to be done.

Well, just look at our Sheva situation. Gila has not turned out to be good enough, and in two seasons of Champions League football he's scored less goals than Iaquinta did in his first game. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Sometimes that gamble works out, just look at Palermo/Viola with Toni. He was nothing special. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I doubt Juve would push Trezeguet out the door, unless they have a certain someone in mind, a star player that they want to lead in attack (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Iaquinta would do well off the bench, and that is as far as it goes for him.

On Trezeguet, he must already know where he is going, if he did that 'I'm outa here' thing to the Juve managment, he is conferming that he has already reached an agreement with a club ;)But where ?? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

(IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) Omfg....it all makes sense. Trez is moving to the Scousers!!!! He's exactly what they lack, a clinical finisher....and his fee will not be in the Eto'o range, he gets his first team football and Premier League exposure!!!!
Damn I'm so freaking smart...I'm like the Warren Buffet of the transfer market!!! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Trez to Liverpool would be a great buy for them, but the do have Crouch who had a fantastic season with them. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Trezeguet Agent Names Top English, Spanish Clubs

GOAL.com

David Trezeguet has lifted the lid on the Premiership's interest in him. However, he did not completely rule out the possibility of staying on at Juventus.

Patrizia Pighini, Trezeguet's agent, has hinted that Manchester United, Arsenal and Barcelona are interested in his client, though he voiced concerns over their willingness to meet his demands.

"David has a rather high salary, so we'll have to see if clubs like Barcelona, Arsenal and Manchester United will need a player of his characteristics," began Patrizia Pighini.

"In the next weeks we'll see if someone is sold, and then that could free up a place and Trezeguet would become a new player for the market."

The movements of Thierry Henry and Samuel Eto'o are what he was hinting at, as clubs are unlikely to meet Trezeguet's demand just to keep him on the bench.

"Lyon? They have always been interested in him, but I'm sure that for David his main objective is to remain with Juve until 2008," continued Pighini.

"It is not that Trezeguet must leave Juve. He still has a year on his contract, until June 2008, and means to respect it.

"He remains disappointed by the fact they forced him to extend, but at the moment they have gone quiet and nothing has been done. David does not have anything else other than respect for the contract that he has."

Love the last part... "and means to respect it (contract)" after what he did in the last match. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

If he'll cost a bit I don't see Arsenal getting him, they only seem to spend big on players that're pretty young with huge potential. (Reyes, Henry, van Persie).

Seems the perfect fit for Liverpool, though apparently there's rumours of a rift between manager and owners over money. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Moratti targeting Tevez

Inter patron Massimo Moratti admits Carlos Tevez is “what we need,” but rejected rumours of an Adriano-Antonio Cassano exchange.

It has been widely reported in the Italian media that Tevez’s representatives have already met with the Nerazzurri and the West Ham star himself confirmed he was interested in a move to the San Siro.

Now the club President has also made the negotiations official when asked about Tevez at today’s youth team Scudetto celebration.

“It is true, this is a player we like a great deal,” said Moratti. “He has quality and character – he is just what we need.”

The Argentine international’s contract is owned by company MSI and only on loan to West Ham, so he could be released for as little as £100,000.

It’s believed that Tevez will be a direct replacement for Adriano, who is more and more out of favour after a series of off the field problems and poor form.

The Italian Press suggests that he will be handed over to Real Madrid as part of the deal to bring Cassano to Inter.

“No, we are not interested in Cassano,” assured Moratti. “We are at a fairly advanced stage of negotiations with David Suazo. We’ll see how the talks proceed.”

West Ham United are involved in a different transfer story with another Serie A side – Lazio.

Both teams are tracking River Plate goalkeeper Juan Pablo Carrizo, who has been earmarked as a potential successor to the recently retired Angelo Peruzzi.

Another Argentinian (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) They don't have good Italians at all.

Tevez and Suazo? They already have: Crespo, Adriano, Zlatan, Recoba and Cruz.

Suazo's there to sit on the bench for the reserves, if he's lucky. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Zlatan, Crespo, Tevez and Suazo are preety strong attack but not as strong as Eto'o/R10, Ronaldo, Gila, Pippo.
