I think Bonera is a decent player on his day - but those days are few and far between. He was appalling against Parma, and unless Zap/Rami are carrying niggles from the Juve game, surely they're the better option?

Looking forward to seeing Van Ginkel play, and I really hope Torres proves me wrong (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

As I think a clean sheet with this Milan is unlikely, I'm going for a 1-2 win.

Ugly Milan! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Poor performances all round.

Hard to argue that the better team won tonight.

Good result! Definitely an improvement.

Still lots to work on, but at the very least it's a bit of a confidence boost going into the derby.

Not an easy game. They sit one point beneath us, but have already played Juve, Napoli and Fiorentina. Donadoni has done a decent job since taking over - don't forget that they went on a 7 game winning steak at the end of last season, beating Inter in the process.

Will the win on Wednesday be enough to kick-start Milan's season?
Will Allegri's return to the bench act as motivation for the players?
Should Bojan start?
Will Traore misplace a pass?

So many questions!

Wait! I just realised you opened the Udinese and Zenit threads too. This was a freak!

Edit: And you opened the Madrid pre-season thread!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

It was always going to be a tough season wasn't it. Our squad has potential, but Milan fan's aren't used to that - they're used to having a squad full of 'world class' players and instant results. It's not a nice situation to be faced with if you've followed the team for a number of years - but it is what it is. Everyone has seen the balance sheets - I think most people can appreciate that deep down, the club are trying to do the right thing by aligning the club's outgoings with it's income - but again, it's a bitter pill to swallow when that's something you're not used to.

Give Allegri time. I agree, some of his decisions so far have been questionable, and things aren't going to plan right now - but I think he deserves the chance to try and turn it around. To me, it makes sense to judge this new team, and Allegri, at the Christmas break - not after 4 games.

Everyone agrees - improvement is needed.

I love Benitez. I love him because he turned our greatest rivals from treble winners to mid-table washouts in about 6 months.

In my opinion, he's definitely not the right man for the job.

Was his shirt pulled in the box? Yes. Did he go down easily? Yes. Could he have stayed on his feet? Probably. Was it a penalty. Yes!

Obviously I'd be pretty annoyed if this was given against us, but the defender knew what he was doing. He's always running a risk by doing that. As an attacker, if the opposition defender fouls you, and you're in a worse position because of it, but you could stay on your feet - is it a dive if you go to ground anyway to get a penalty?

Bojan reportedly very close to signing with Milan after delaying his move to Malaga. Interesting player - Galliani is certainly driving down the average age!

Not a great half. It's almost like everyone is looking around for Ibra when they get the ball!

El Shaarawy deserves a start in my opinion - one of the best in pre-season. Yepes always does well - no biggie.
