I see you guys are both rays of sunshine (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I think it matters. If we sign the players we need this summer, we'll have a good season. EL is already a burden. Having to start it in mid-July makes it even worse

I've lost interest for details. These things matter to top clubs with a strict plan and idea. What is now important for Milan is to sign good players and make finally a step forward. In that context, I really think it's unimportant.

Anyway, Milan's last game this season. I think if Gattuso fails we really should be considering someone else. This would be like the 6th or 7th consecutive fail in a match that matters/is of some importance. And yes, I've lost my patience.

Wow. Hakan as a #10 and we didn't miss Suso at all. Maybe there is something to Rino saying he just doesn't have the time to implement options other than the 4-3-3.

Let's see what happens in the market next season.

All in all, I rate this season a 6.5/10. We've gotten some good talent for next season and with the right 2-3 buys, we should be able to challenge for CL next season. I believe we have 4 CL spots next season right?

Yes.

And I agree that we have a solid base to build upon, unlike last summer when we had to change 2/3 of the roster. But those 2-3 signings we want to make have to be top signings, not filler players.

No dude. Didn't watch at all. Heard of the Pippo hatrick. Loved that he stuffed it to Buffon. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Agree with this totally. I'm much more at ease knowing we have guys like Bonucci, Kessie, Biglia, Hakan Romagnoli, etc to build on. But those 3 new signings have to be perfect.

So far the transfer market is just depressing me though. We've signed Reina and Strinic while Inter have already wrapped up Lautar Martinez, De Vrij and Asamoah. That's already an amazing haul and 2 of them are for free. We didn't need De Vrij, but Asamoah would have been a great addition to our roster.

Then you have Napoli signing Carlo while we've had our FFP Settlement agreement rejected by UEFA because of our shady "ownership". And it's all just depressing. Football has been a complete gut-punch for a while now, add to that the Italy woes and I'm not even looking forward to the World Cup, let alone to see how Mirabelli is going to f@ck up another transfer window

Just a few bits and pieces. Those guys looked better than some of the current generation look now. Do you think Seedorf would consider coming out of retirement?

Yeah, just seeing the pics of all the old Milan players from the Carlo era brings back so many memories. That squad was amazing, and should have been even more successful than it was.
