Good news. He'll be rested for the Genoa match.

I sure want to see Brazil in 2010WC but I hope something happens and they sack that useless Dunga. Brazil need a coach for 2010WC not a clown.

Brazil will never miss a World Cup anyhow, no matter who's in charge. Anyways, good news for us that Pato won't be playing!

Isn't Copa America next summer? I think that's our best shot to get rid of him..

I think those two games could have been good for Pato in order to improve his form.

They got pretty darn close to missing it in 2002. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Save for Ronaldo's heroics in the qualifiers and then in the tournament itself. But yeah, it's really hard to imagine them missing. Not impossible, but very hard.

LOL Wales are drawing 0-0 with Azerbhajan(sp?) and wales have missed a penalty- credit to the 'keeper who made a brilliant double save. Azerbhajan(sp?) are also down to ten men!

Wales 1-0 Azerbaijan...the Azerbaijan 'keeper didn't deserve that as he's been excellent.

HT Andorra 0-0 England.

Not good enough Mr. Capello. I have to ask why you feel we need 4 defenders? We started off well enough, but seem to have a lack of ideas at the moment. Theo, Johnson and Defoe will need hospital treatment after this game me thinks, they're getting battered out there.

Well. Not the most auspicious start for Italy. Gamberini got hurt 2 minutes in, was subbed for Barzagli.

(Italy playing in a 4-4-2 of Buffon; Zambrotta Cannavaro Barzagli Gross; Camoranesi Pirlo De Rossi Di Natale; Toni Gilardino).
