QUOTE
ANCELOTTI: 'It's defending that counts not systems'

12/10/2005

MILANELLO - Carlo Ancelotti spoke about defending at set-pieces: 'There is some worry at the moment. Sheva is back helping as our midfielders are not great in the air. We have tried man-marking in training and zonal marking, with Sheva we had man-marking and we still gave away a goal. The important thing is to defend in a relaxed and good way not the type of system. Last season, Inter conceded two goals from set-pieces and tomorrow we'll have Pirlo who can hit a free-kick in his own particular way. I still have to decide who will replace Maldini. Inter have been consistent and have more quality than when we met them in 2003. They have Adriano, Figo and Veron who is still one of the best midfielders in the world.'

what did Ancelotti mean by "Last season, Inter conceded two goals from set-pieces"? In the whole season? If so, they did a great job.
